The Horse Amulet

The amulet

I was walking to the mall for Christmas shopping, when I heard something far off into the woods.

Many story's have been told of the woods. Werewolves, vampires, but I didn't believe it. The sound j heard sounded like a horse.

I walked past many trees until I finally found what was making the noise. A foal. It was red.

The goal was trapped on a thorn bush. I helped it free after poking myself many times.

The foal walked up to me and nudged me. I hugged it and got up. The foal nudged me to follow them.

I followed them behind a tree where a necklace was. It had a wooden horseshoe amulet on it. I picked it up and wore it around my neck.

I went to leave but the foal nudged me to follow them. I followed them to an open grass area.

The foal neighed and it was like an invisible door opened. There were horses everywhere that I didn't see before. "Wow!" I said.

Some horses had unicorn horns. Others wings. A few had both. The full walked in and I followed without hesitation.

Horses are my favorite animal. Sometimes, when times are rough, I wish that I could be a horse. I knew that it couldn't happen, but thinking about it makes me happy.

All of the horses looked at me as I came in. The foal talked to them, probably telling them that he brought me here. I took off my winter coat and held it.

Al of the horses looked at my shirt. My shirt had hearts all over a horse. The foal walked to me and nudged the horseshoe amulet on my necklace.

I touched the horseshoe and it lit up. Then everything went black.
