The Horse Amulet

Stuck in a room

It was starting to get really cold. I was in human form, under a blanket, waking up from a short nap.

I don't know how I was human, I didn't change before I fell to sleep. I must have rubbed my muzzle on my leg at some point.

The amulet was beside me. I say up and we are still here in Pallie's room. I touched the amulet and was knocked out.

I woke up, horse form, and walked over to the corner Redbull was in. Pallie was sleeping close to Redbull.

Some growling came outside the door. The wolves would not give up. I lied down next to Redbull. He woke up and looked at me.

"Is it safe to go out?" He whispered.

"No. We will be here for a while," I said.

I changed to human form. Redbull put his head in my lap and I petted him. He was so soft. It made me feel safe and I'm sure it did the same to him.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I had to be home by then. I was thinking of what I might get for Christmas. I was getting excited.

That's when I thought about having a horse to ride around. Redbull was perfect for it.

"Hey Redbull," I whispered,"what if I have you as a pet horse, when you are old enough for me to ride you."

"That's the best idea ever," Redbull said.

"I thought so."

We were stuck in the room for another twenty minutes. Until there was a scratch at the door and a familiar voice.

"It's safe to come out now," thunder said through the door.

Pallie was awake at the time. She went to the door and pushed it a little. It was indeed thunder.

"I have to go home. I might not see you tomorrow. You know, being Christmas Eve and all. Bye," I said. I left cautiously until I was out of the woods.

Everything was already light up as Christmas. It was really cold. Colder than it usually was. I think that my horse form is cold. I don't really understand how it worked.

I think that I can feel my horse form while I am human. I felt it when I was in gym. We have to run, and I had all of this energy, more than I usually have. Can't worry about it now.

I made it home and got straight into bed. There was no dinner tonight. I guess nobody was hungry. At least I was safe and sound.
