The Horse Amulet

Christmas trees

I came home from school and today was a horrible day. Horrible. I have been teased again. My only way to calm down is to go outside.

I went outside with my winter coat on. I brought the amulet with me everywhere. I brought it to school. I brought it to the store. Everywhere. It was always in my pocket.

Anyways, my favorite thing now is going outside. My mom doesn't care where I go. I just need to let her know where I am at. I go into the woods. When I am sure no one can hear me, I touch the amulet.

Of course, everything goes black. I wake up, as a horse, and start calling out for Redbull. I get to an open area and neigh.

An invisible door opens and I walk in. There were trees everywhere. Decorated for Christmas. They all were decorated differently. Some with stars. Some with presents under them. It was a colorful room.

I went to go find mine. I found mine in the back. It was decorated with yellow ornaments. Yellow star. A few horse ornaments too.

I loved it. If you can't tell, my favorite color is yellow. I go look at other trees. The one with less ornaments was Stallia's. There was only a star. I'm not sure why and probably not going to find out.

I noticed that other doors had names on them. To say who lives where. It took me a while to find it, but I finally found Pallie's and Redbull's house.

I nudged the door which plays a sweet tone. Pallie came trotting out and said,"Hello. Do you want to come in?"

"Yes, I would love to take a look around," I said. I stepped in and everything was pink. Well, at least the walls were. Redbull was in the living room playing with a ball. I joined in.

"Sarah!" Redbull said. He was excited to see me. We hugged in a horse way and Redbull walked outside. "Come on."

"Ok," I said laughing a little. "I will leave you be, Pallie. Thanks for letting in."

"No problem," Pallie said. "I'm glad to see him smile. Come in anytime you want."

I said another goodbye and went outside. Everyone is so nice here. I never want to leave, but I know that I have to.

I followed Redbull to his tree. It was colorful. Blue balls, red streamers, and a nice star on top. "It's beautiful," I said.

"I also decorated yours. Did you see it?"

"Yes and I love it. Thank you."

I spent about two more hours there until going home for dinner. I had a fun time with Redbull. We made a goal to get out wings and horn together.

I forgot about what happened at school until I got home, but I can't worry about that. I have homework to do now. So boring and frustrating.

Tomorrow, I know will be a great day.
