My job was to protect

I woke up early on the morning. Redbull was awake too. We carefully sneaked out to start our job. I couldn't see why Thunder couldn't protect us from the Riders.

I turned into human form and sneaked around everywhere. I spotted people nearby and hid behind a bush. Redbull was behind a big tree.

I listened to what they had to say. I couldn't make all of it out though.

"They.... nearby," said one man. There was two, so far.

"Do you...... money we......... catch.......," said the other. I didn't know why I couldn't understand them. It was like they were speaking a language I don't know how to speak.

The first man nodded. Did I miss something. I shifted my position. I made so much noise. I hurried and turned into my horse form. I did just because I run faster as a horse.

The men crept to where I was. "Run Redbull! Run!" I said. He stood there. Just stood. "Go back now!" I screamed before the men wrestled me down.

Redbull galloped away. I tried to get the men off me, but they stayed on. One of the men grabbed a rope. They started talking. I couldn't understand anything now. I only knew that they were talking because their mouths were moving.

I stood there, being pulled by these men, on horseback now. I felt so ashamed. I let Tania, leader of the herd, down. Hopefully Redbull got back safely.

"Why are you so sad?" Asked one of the horses.

"I..... I just don't want to talk about it," I said.

"It's alright. I was captured by the man that is riding me. My name is Frosted Ice," said the horse on my left.

"I'm Sugar Apple. I was trained by the man riding me. I've never been a wild horse before. I always imagined being one," said the horse on my right.

"I shouldn't be here. I need to be protecting the herd," I said.

"Don't worry. You'll have a good time with us," said Sugar Apple. "All the other horses we've met have been sold."

"Sold!" I yelled. The man riding Frosted Ice stopped. He got off to calm me down. I don't want to be sold. Being sold is the worst thing I can think of.

"Calm down," Frosted Ice said. "I even like it there myself. I've been there since I was just a colt. Plus I need my oats, I'm starving."

I calmed down. All of us continued through the woods. I have never been through this part. The trees have been farther apart then it is back we're the herd is. I saw the sky.

The men led me into a stable. I got my own stall. They gave me water and oats. I didn't eat.

It was late in the night. I was getting hungry. One man left me some oats to eat. I ate them. It tasted so good.

I was very uncomfortable. It was cold. The horses around me all had blankets on. I refused for the men to touch me.

Morning came soon. Still as a horse, I had never been a horse this long. One man led me to an open area.

"Hey. I never got your name," Frosted Ice said.

"I used to be Sarah. That was a different name before I changed it," I said. I wanted my name to change ever since I found out that o can be a horse.

"Well, what is it?" Frosted Ice asked.

"Um... Silent Fox," I said. I called myself Silent Fox when I am being quiet.

"That's an odd name," Sugar Apple said. He trotted up to us and stirred a conversation with Frosted Ice.

I sneaked away, not at all noticed. I turn around, not far from where the two were deep in conversation. Sugar Apple started to look around. He found me and trotted over to me, Frosted Ice following.

"Now I see why they called you Silent Fox," Frosted Ice said.

"Am I going to be sold?" I asked without thinking.

"I heard them talking about selling you," Sugar Apple said. "That's what I just told Frosted Ice."

Hello. A long part. Finally. I was going to do something else, then I asked myself what would happen if the other thing happened. I'm glad I did that. If I didn't, this part would be as short as the others. Above is a picture of Frosted Ice and Sugar Apple. Sugar Apple is on the left. Frosted Ice is on the right. That's all I have to say.
