The Horse Amulet

Almost telling my secret

Today I almost turned into my horse form at school. I kept putting my hand in my pocket that I had the amulet in.

Today was the best day ever, but I might have brushed over the amulet five or six times. I felt like passing out, but I quickly pulled my hand out and I was fine.

I need to be carful of where I put the amulet. I can't wear it around my neck. Everyone would ask me where I got it from and then they would most likely touch it.

What happens when other people touch it? Will they turn into a horse too?

I don't want to find out. I am really tired now. It's only seventh period though. I can go home and go see Redbull. Redbull. No. I totally forgot.

I need to find out what Redbull wants for Christmas. It's only two days away. So far, I only have apples to get him. I know that it's not much.

I need to get him some balls to play with. They seem to entertain him. I just need to know what color to get them in.

The school bell rang and I jumped. I packed my stuff and left. Finally. School is over.

I ran all the way home. When I saw my mom, I asked,"Can I go last minute shopping for Christmas?"

"Yes. Make sure to come back by dinner," my mom replied.

I walked to the store and bought five blue balls. One small. One big. Others are medium sized.

I don't need to wrap it. If you wrap a ball, everyone might know that it is a ball. I went into the forest.

A wolf howled as I went to the open area. Oh no. A wolf. I ran the rest of the way. I don't want to run into a wolf pack.

I reached to the open area and the invisible door opened for me. I didn't do anything. I quickly went inside.

Nobody was in the main room, where all the trees were. I pulled the amulet out of my pocket and touched it. I turned into horse form. I'm still not used to passing out.

A growling noise came behind me. I didn't want to turn around. I finally decided to turn. I know that I shouldn't have, but I still did.

Right in front of me is a growling wolf. Behind it, it's pack.
