Keeping my secret

I was done shopping for my family. My mom loves purple, so I got her a bunch of purple things. My cousin moved in a while ago and I got her some toys. My grandma, well let's just say, I know nothing about her. My mom said that she is getting stuff for my grandma, so I don't have to worry about that.

All I have to do is wrap. Wrapping. The worst part of getting gifts for others. I usually just put it in a bag and call it good. We ran out of bags. I might just give it all to my grandma to wrap. Yea. I'll do that.

As I was walking home, Redbull started to follow me. At leas tee were in the street that no one goes through. "What are you doing?"

"I just wanted to see you before you go home," Redbull said.

"Wait? I can understand you and I'm human. How does this work?"

"Must be part of that amulet you have."

"Must be. Bye. I have to go home or my mom will ground me. See you tomorrow."

I went home just in time. I have all the gifts to grandma and went to my room. I have my own room downstairs. No one else likes downstairs, because it's always cold. I am fine with it.

I turned on my music and closed my door. I love country music. I don't dance country. I'm actually not good at dancing at all.

I grabbed the necklace and looked at it. It didn't look old at all. I wanted to touch it, but my family is right upstairs and would hear me. I don't want that to happen.

I hanged it up on an empty hook. Now, I have to be careful with it. It's going to be hard keeping my secret. I want to be a horse so bad right now.

I touch the amulet and everything goes black. I open my eyes and I'm a horse. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs quickly. I rub my left leg with my muzzle and everything goes black.

I wake up with my mom looking at me. "You were making loud noises, so I came to check on you. Are you ok?" She asks.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I said. She left without even answering. That was close. It'll be hard trying not to let my secret get out. This will be hard, but I can do this.
