Steph's POV

"Mom!..." I called but no one answered except my little shih tzu named Oreo whos barking enormously.

I didnt hear any answer so im guessing theyre not yet home, i quickly put my luggage to my room and change from shorts and tee shirts then climb into my bed i was about sleep until my phone ring i was hoping it was Kyle, but the number appeared on my screen isnt registered in my phonebook

I decided to answer it..

"Hey, "she said

'I dont recognize her voice'

"Do i know you?" I ask, i heard her chuckle

"Hon,." She said, then Loira registered in my mind, her voice is different .. Guessing,,, husky? She has this bed room voice

"Oh, sorry didnt recogniZe your voice" i said

"Its ok, hows the trip"

"Its fine, how did you know my number?"i heard her soft laugh

"Umm... Connections?" It was said sarcastically but i dont mind

"Yeah right" i simply said

" anyways, i will be seeing you any day this week"

"Whaaatt?" I said in a schock tone

"You heard me right, ill be visiting my hon's hometown soon, "

"Why?" I ask sounding worried,

i feel tense now i didnt prepared for this im not expecting her to come all the way here

And my mom and dad .. Ugh! They still dont know about me coming out

'Oh my goodness!'

'Tell me shes joking' i whispered biting my lower lips

"Im just kidding i will just visit you have a date, get to know each other. So... I'll meet you after your school"she said and ended the call before i could protest

"What now?! She'll visit me in my own school?my gosh! I cant believe what shes doing" i laid myself to my soft bed and sighed in frustration, i look at the window and decided to walk .

Walking is my way to remove anxiety and and any bad emotions that im feeling im lucky that our subdivision has a long clear road were people can jog or walk around without worrying

I change my outfit from running shoes, shirts and a short then, slid my ipod watch blocked my ear with the ear phone, lock the door and started walking

I wasnt that far when i saw a group of people hanging around at the basketball court, i glance their way and continue walking but i was interrupted by a hand blocking my way, i stop and remove the earphone from my ear

"Kyle.." I breathe for air and place my hand on my waist

"Sorry for blocking you.." She said casually i tried my hardest to give her my warm smile even though it felt awkward

'Now why so awkward?'

"You wanna join us?"why do i feel that everything she said was casual and so distant..it gives me chill

"Umm.. What are you up to?"i replied instead of looking at her , i look at the group that i had pass awhile ago, they're mix of man and woman of our same age

"Just rehearsing for up coming music month in our school"

" your into band?" I ask never heard that shes into music, because i know her being so sporty
