I was split. Why was I in love with him? We're too far apart to date. Even if we were the same age, management would KILL us...
"HAYLEY!" Cried a voice. I snapped out of my daze and looked over to see Niall struggling to put on his coat.
"We are going to the Pirate Party on the main deck tonight. Harry says he wants to stay with you, so yeah."
I got a butterfly feeling in my stomach. Whaaaaaat?
"Okay." I said, helping him get into his coat. "Just don't get too crazy, and be responsible. We're docking in France tomorrow, and it's going to be a long day."
"Mmhmm" he mumbled, grabbing his key and leaving.
I sat on his bed, just thinking, when Harry walked in.
"Hey." He said, sitting down next to me.
"Why aren't you going to the Pirate party tonight?" I blurted.
Harry shrugged. "Too much commotion for me."
"Oh." I said.
After a moment of awkward silence, Harry looked up at me and said, "I made dinner reservations."
"Hmm? Where? Why?" I asked, wondering to myself why I was so nervous. It was just Harry, after all, not Justin Bieber.
"At um, that place down by the pool." He said.
"You mean, at Caroline's?" I asked.
"Yeah, the dockside place."
"You do know I'm a vegetarian, right?"
"What?!" Harry asked.
"I'm sorry? You didn't know?"
"No!" He proclaimed, standing up.
"Just for the two of us?"
"Yes!" He whined. "But I guess I'll get the others to use it. Geez! I had no idea you didn't eat fish!"
"Skater's diet." I said back, sighing.
"Oh." Said the British boy. He stood up.
"Sorry." I said, standing up too.
"Nah, it's okay." Harry claimed. He stuck his hands in his sports jacket pocket. Darn. He got dressed up for no reason.
So we stood there for another moment of awkward silence. I looked at him. He was really trying to get me.
We kept standing there, silently. I had such an urge to jump up and kiss him, but I couldn't.
I looked down at the ground. This was really awkward.
I glanced up and saw Harry's greenish eyes looking at me, disappointed.
I fidgeted with my white shorts and blue and green plaid top.
"Hayley?" Asked Harry.
I looked up at him. "What?"
He smiled.
"What?" I asked again, getting a strange warm feeling in my stomach.
Suddenly, in one swift motion, Harry bent over, and picked me up.
"What are you doing?" I asked, flailing my arms.
"Nothing." He said. He set me down at the head of Niall's bed. I didn't move a muscle I had this shaky feeling going on inside of me.
Harry got onto the bed and leaned over me. Our faces were only inches apart.
Holy crap. Holy crap. Holy crap.
"I...I...I"
I couldn't make any words because I felt his warm breath on my face.
We stared into each other's eyes. Then I closed mine.
I felt the bed shake as he moved closer to my face.
And then, our lips touched. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. Instantly, I felt under a spell.
We broke apart and he smiled.
"Been wanting to do that since I met you." He said.
I smiled back. "I've been wanting to kiss you since I was twelve. I wanted to MARRY you actually." I said really fast.
"Hell with it!" He cried, pseudo-angry. We both smiled and he planted his lips on mine again, this time, not as softly.
And as if fate decided it at the last second, Niall came into the room and screamed.
We missed the announcement that the Pirate Party was cancelled due to the weather conditions, and that everyone was supposed to return to their rooms immediately.
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" He demanded.
