It was two days since the fire. The boys were all over the news, and mom called me in a panic right after we left the hospital. Louis had returned back to normal, and the boys were doing allright.

However, I didn't hear one word about Dallas. Nothing about where he was, and if he was okay. I probably left sixty messages on his phone.

Regardless of the incident, the shows still had to go on. It was the first day of summer, and London was HOT. I didn't like to wear all black for the concerts, but I had to.

We were performing in The Wembley stadium today, so I was hustling around, trying to finish up the final touches.

"Zayn," I called from twenty feet away. "Go get the rest of the boys, it's time to begin soundcheck."

Zayn nodded and quickly ran backstage to the dressing rooms. I sat down in the audience, and looked around. This place was SO big. Right now, it was dead-empty. However, within a couple hours, it would be louder than anything else.

I couldn't believe I was in London though; so far away from my family; for three whole months! I'll probably forget how to drive when I get back home. However, all I could think about was how scared I was about loosing Dallas, and how overly optimistic I was about it. It may be partly because we were going on the cruise next week, but I was still torn. Dallas meant so much to me. I loved him with all my heart...I couldn't stand the fact that I had no idea what was going on with him, or even if he was alive for that matter. Ignorance IS the parent of fear.

"You okay?" came a calm voice from behind me. It was Liam. He jumped over a few chairs, and plopped down right next to me. "You seem awfully quiet today."

"I do?"

"Yes," Liam replied. "What's the matter?"

I was silent for a few seconds when Liam added, "It's Dal, isn't it?"

I nodded, and swiped a few tears from my eyes.

Liam wrapped his arm around me. "Don't cry." He whispered. "Everything is going to turn out fine."

I sniffed. "But...what if it's not? What if something terrible happened to him?"

"I'm sure he's allright."

"I'm...I'm just scared, Liam."

"It's okay." He said, wrapping his arm around me.

I sighed. It was silent for two minutes until the rest of the boys came out onstage.

"Let's get started." He said, and hopped over to join the boys.

Sorry it's such a short chapter. It's basically a transition chapter for the next one. Also, I've been really busy with sports, so updating will take longer than usual.
