"Yes, sir, thank you for asking. I hope you have been well as well." Alice spoke carefully with a small bow, keeping her eyes on the floor.

"Where are the others? My little cubs must be around here somewhere, right?" The Doctor smiled menacingly, watching the flustered girl straighten up.

"They're sleeping, sir." Alice gulped, trying to breathe.

"It seems whenever I visit, I only ever speak to you. What a shame, I'd love to see the other three as well. Would you mind if they were woken up?" He saw he stiffen, saw the fear in her eyes as she held her breath, hoping he was joking.

"It'd be pretty difficult to wake them in their current state..." Alice sighed, motioning about at the several empty bottles that littered the room.

"Ah, yes, I see. Well then, may I ask as to why you have a knife?"

Alice looked up, her gaze meeting his.

"Yes, well, sir, it's in case you were to try and test me, like last year." She smiled a sickening smirk, cocking her head slightly. "Which, I'm assuming you are, considering the three men standing down the hall, waiting for your command."

She had heard them, smelt them, felt their presence as soon as the door was opened.

"My my, already better results from last year. Good girl, good girl!" He clapped, and the men were standing in the doorway, pointing guns at her.

She noticed the cage sitting in the hall, as well.

"If you do well, I'll leave Gen in there be. However..." He paused. "If you were to behave poorly..."

Alice lunged, swiftly swinging the blade through the air. She stuck with so much force, her metal blade passed through all three guns, rendering them useless. Though, she had gotten too close. One of the men grabbed her, holding her still, while one of them beat her. The third moved the cage into her apartment. The Doctor walked in before sitting on the couch, facing the door and the cage.

Once Alice stopped struggling, and she was rendered to a bloody pulp, she was stuffed inside of the cage and injected with a thick, black liquid. Her eyes shot open, and her mouth opened in a silent scream. She clawed at the metal floor of the cage, whimpering, before she coughed up a profuse amount of blood. It splattered against the cold steel underneath her, and she went still. She stared at the dark crimson as her bright green eyes slowly faded to a dull yellow. Her pupils were mere slits, and her teeth became so sharp they cut her mouth, causing her to spit out more blood.

Her nails were like small knives, pointed and razor sharp. She looked up at The Doctor with rage, curling up her lip and crinkling her nose with a low, eerie hiss.

Her bedroom door was thrown open by one of the men, and she snapped her head in that direction, eyes wide. The men drug her three friends out, tossing them to the floor a few feet away. Alice reached through the bars of the small cage, trying to reach them. Leo was the only one still conscious, and he looked at her with large, sad eyes. He was filled with rage, both at The Doctor and at himself.

"So, since Mads was a bad girl again, I have to punish her." The Doctor smiled, pulling out another syringe of that thick, black liquid.

"Leave her alone!" Leo growled, moving to stand. One of the guards stopped him with a swift kick in the ribs, and Alice yelped, slamming herself against the bars, trying furiously to escape.

"Tsk Tsk." The Doctor muttered. "Gen, behave yourself, ir you'll receive her punishment instead."

Alice was hissing and growling, trying to make any kind of sound in order to stop what was happening. She had somehow lost the ability to speak, and her throat hurt like hell, but she was trying to do something, to do anything. Leo watched with a wince, clutching his gut.
