Jungkook was 20, and Taehyung was 22.
He was right. Jungkook loved his University life.
He loved his course, and loved living with his 3 friends. But, he mainly just loved living with his boyfriend. He loved the fact that sometimes, in the middle of the night, his boyfriend would sneak into his room while he was sleeping, and climb into bed beside him. Just so, the first face Jungkook would see in the morning, is Taehyung's. Jungkook doesn't usually like sharing, but Taehyung was an exception. Waking up to see Taehyung's sleepy, smiley face in the morning, always made Jungkook's heart swell with happiness.
Yoongi often asks them why they don't just share a room, seeing as they're always in and out of each others rooms most nights. But, they chose not to. The two needed their own space, and a space to study alone sometimes. Besides, they still lived together, and saw each other daily, so they were happy with the arrangements as they were.
They also had Friday night's, and most Saturday's, set aside for each other. Friday night was date night. It was the perfect night for date night as there were usually a lot of house parties going on, for all Uni students to attend to. This meant that if they didn't want to party, or go out somewhere, and would rather have a date night in, the house was usually empty, as Jin and Yoongi would head to a party most Friday's.
On date nights in, all alone, the two would cuddle up on the sofa inside a warm blanket. A big bowl of popcorn would sit on their laps, as they shared it and watched a movie.
They would usually spend half an hour arguing over what movie to watch. Taehyung loved rom-coms, comedies, and movies that had you in tears. Whereas, Jungkook loved horror, action, and superheroes. Taehyung loved superheroes too, but, they must've watched the Iron Man trilogy about ten billion times throughout their childhood, and he could probably recite all three films off by heart. And while Jungkook loved to watch a sad movie too sometimes, so he could comfort his cute, sobbing boyfriend, there was only so much of Marley & Me he could handle.
In the end, however, it usually wouldn't matter what movie they ended up picking, as they wouldn't really watch much of it. Instead, being preoccupied with long make out sessions on the sofa, that would cause the popcorn bowl to topple over, and the contents to fall all over the floor. Neither boy would notice, or care, as they continue to make out, blanket falling, and t-shirts being thrown off, joining the popcorn. The movie completely forgotten, as the older boy would hoist the younger up around his waist, and carry him to one of their bedrooms to continue elsewhere.
It would only be the next morning, when a slightly annoyed and naggy Jin, would bang on the bedroom door and demand one of them to tidy the mess, that they would remember the movie. While, a hungover and grumpy Yoongi, would yell and curse at Jin for being too loud, and waking him up.
This scenario happened most Friday's, and Saturday's the couple would spend the day out around the city somewhere, while Yoongi slept off his hangover, and Jin made him hangover soup, before going out to do the weekly shop for necessities. Jin was always the sensible one and watched what he drank at parties, so he could keep an eye on his fellow housemate, and make sure he doesn't become too rowdy. But some Friday's, the two younger boys would party too, and Jin would find himself making three lots of hangover soup the next day. This Friday happened to be one of those party nights.
Jungkook tried to put off as many party nights as possible, opting to rather stay in, as he wasn't a big fan of these big social events. It wasn't so much that he was too shy anymore, as he was a lot better at talking to people, he just didn't like the alcohol. He didn't like the way that it removed boundaries. Sure, most of it was just harmless fun and stupid moments, but when it caused people to flirt, it really irked him. When drunk, a lot of girls start to flirt with his boyfriend, and while this shouldn't really irritate him too much as his boyfriend is obviously gay, Taehyung still flirts back. Well, it really shouldn't annoy him, because when Taehyung is drunk, he flirts with everything, even plants. But, while he can laugh at his boyfriend flirting with plants, he can't ignore it when his boyfriend flirts with others. Even though, he knows it's the alcohol, not him.
