"You not gonna give me a hug?" Devin asked Leilani.
We standed in the doorway watching him and Destiny put their bags into the car.
I watched Leilani attempt to run towards him. But nearly tripped in the process.
"Woah slow down." Destiny laughed while lifting her from the ground.
She kissed her on the check causing her to smile. "You gonna be good for mommy?" She nodded her head and wrapped her arms around her neck.
Giving her a hug. "Alright tell Uncle Dev goodbye."

I entered the house hearing the sound of crying. Already knowing it was Melina I slowly walked into the kitchen not wanting to deal with her shit.
"What you crying for?" I tried to say it in a way that sounds as if I cared.
She didn't say anything she sat there on the island hugging her friend for comfort.
They all stared at me with a mug on their face. And I scrunched up my face in annoyance.
"Why yall still here?"
"Because we're here doing something you should be doing, like comforting Melina." Tiffany called out.
"Man ain't shit wrong with her, she's just pregnant and emotional."
I hate walking into my house to find these bitches sitting around like they live here. Then talking shit about me while I'm not here.
"Lucas can I talk to you?" Melina got up out of her seat walking towards the living room.
"In private." She added.
I slightly rolled my eyes and leaned further against the counter. "You wanna talk to me in private after you told them our fucking business."
She sniffled while glaring her eyes that looked as if she was hurt at me.
"W-why do you have to talk to me like that I-i just wanna talk to you."
I dragged myself off of the counter making my way towards her. Seeing her friends eyes on me as they whisper amongst themselves.
"Get the fuck out!" I stopped and stood over the table.
These bitches been pissing me off. Everyday when I come home they're here eating my shit. Sitting around here talking down on me to Melina and they think imma let that shit slide.
They sat there shocked at my sudden outburst. I watched as they slowly shifted there eyes onto Melina waiting for her response.
"Babe-." She started but stopped once I gave her that look.
"I'll talk to y'all later." She said, causing them to suck there teeth while talking shit on their way out.

The music came to an abrupt stop quickly after my phone began to ring.
Before answering it I looked to see who was calling.
Seeing that it was Leilanis school I answered.
"Uhh excuse me is this Leilanis mother Yn?" She said sounding as if she was panicking.
I had no other choice but to grow worried I dropped Leilani off two hours agoand Im receiving a call from her school.
"Yea why what's going on?"
There was a long pause or at least that's how it felt to me. I grew angry, "What happened to my daughter!" I yelled into the phone.
"Leilanis being rushed to the hospital."
