Before anymore words could be exchanged Troy walked out the room with Leilani in his arms.
He looked at me noticing the tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Ya cool?" I ignored him, removing Leilani from his arms.
"Bye Uncle Twoy, bye Mister."She said while waving goodbye.
Troy gave her a smile and said goodbye also. While Lucas stood there looking at me with hurt in his eyes.
I rolled mines and walked toward the elevator. After all the things he put me through there was no use of me showing sympathy for him.
It took him three whole years to believe that Leilani was his.
Jasmine
"Momma!!" I yelled, after closing the door behind me.
Bryson practically jumped out of my arms running towards the stairs."Cut it out with all that damn yelling I'm coming child!" She shouted back causing me to sucked my teeth.
I came over so that my mom could see Bryson before Yazz took him to Philly to visit his family, for there family reunion
Reaching the bottom of the step she picked Bry up engulfing him into a hug. While giving him several pecks on his cheek.
He laughed while trying to get out of her grip.
"What's wrong you don't want nun of grandma's suga?"
I took a seat on the couch watching her interact with him. Sometimes I wonder how it'll be if she had both of her grandchildren together.
The fact that Yn thinks it's a good idea to keep Leilani away from family is wrong.
I can only imagine how her mom feels.
"You ain't letting him take him for Christmas is you?" She asked.
"Christmas is four and a half months away, no time soon."
"Yea but with him you know you gotta plan ahead, it's like he barely wants him around me."
"But he was hear last Christmas, he would never try to keep Bry away." I informed her while defending Yazz.
"That boy al-." The doorbell rung cutting her sentence short.
She looked at me signaling for me to get the door. I removed my purse from my lap while getting up from the couch.
Growing closer from to the door, arguing was being heard from the other side.
I quickly pulled the door open seeing Troy with his back towards me.
"Nigga da' fuck you hidin' fo'!" He yelled.
"I ain't hiding."
"Troy?" Before he could respond a familiar face came into view.
"Who's at the door?" My mom questioned from inside. I ignored her focusing on the face slowly approaching the doorstep.
My jaw dropped, I can't believe what I'm seeing. As he grew closer I reached out my arms for a hug.
But he dubbed the shit out of me, giving me a look of disgust.
Troy chuckled while following him inside.
My momma jumped out of her seat, her eyes stayed glued to his body, with a look of disbelief.
An uncomfortable premonition of fear infused his senses as she walked towards him.
"I'm sorry m-" He started before she pursed up her lips and sent her hand flying across his face.
