<>Chapter 14<>
I woke up and stretched. I gotta make plans. Or should I continue with my old ones? I mean, my mom is still in trouble. I have to help her still. Goddess or not, she's stuck in the underworld and if Persephone made her eat any of the food. . . well that'd be a shame.
I rummaged through my bag and took out a granola bar. I ate it in less than a minute. So much for savoring the taste. I then grabbed an apple and cut it half with a clean, spare knife. In result, I cut my finger a little. "Ouch," I said to no one in particular.
I dug into the apple and I was finished. I undid my braid and did it again waiting for everyone to wake up. About an hour passed and no one was up. Oh well, I guess I'll practice shooting. I got up and walked to a small clearing in the woods.
I stood in the middle and took my bow out. I grabbed an arrow and brought it onto the string. I looked at all the trees around me, scanning them. I drew back an arrow and pierced a tree in front of me. It felt nice. I drew another arrow and sped up a little.
I turned to my left. I was surprised, it looked like the tree was moving. I blinked. The tree wasn't moving. I shook my head and lifted my bow up, aiming. I let the arrow fly.
It was in the middle just as the first. I smiled and spun around while getting another arrow. I let that one loose. Middle.
I smiled wider, as if it was possible. I loaded again and shot making it in the middle. I spun once again, laughing a little and shooting. I carried on for a while. Then I stopped suddenly. I hit all trees in reach. All in the middle. A branch snapped behind me. I quickly loaded an arrow and spun to face whoever was behind me. I saw that it was just Travis.
"Oh, sorry. Guess I'm just a little jumpy," I apologized. He smiled and cocked his head to the side. "Wonder why," he laughed lightly. "Yep, wonder why," I laughed along. Travis looked around. "Good job," he complimented walking toward me. "Thanks." I smiled at him. I have a feeling that I am going to smile a lot today. "So, what's going on between you and Conner?" he asked.
I was surprised. I thought no one would notice. But really, nothing is going on right? I cleared my throat. "N-nothing, what are y-you talking about?" I lied. "Oh. Ok," he said stepping closer. "That's good," he said slipping a hand behind my neck. I was frozen in place. What? What's he doing?

Oh my gods I finally wrote a chapter! I am so sorry it's so short. I just hope you guys know my life doesn't revolve around Wattpad so I hope none of you get mad mad when I don't update. It's just Thanksgiving, I haven't been feeling too well, and my new choir teacher is terrible.
So you know in choir you're supposed to sing, we'll the new substitute said that we aren't allowed singing until Tuesday. And my Thanksgiving break started last Wednesday. So for Monday and Tuesday we weren't allowed to sing and next Monday we can't sing. Its stupid!
So this week I've been a little weird feeling, I've been ticked off, and Thanksgiving was this week too.
Anyway, thank you. Bye
