"Josh honey, wake up," Tylers moms chirpy voice rang through the door.
Josh's eyes slowly broke through the dried tears on his face. He mumbled that he would be downstairs in a moment.
"Also Josh, I got your work for the week, and explained to the teachers all you're going through. And I went to your parents house and got the rest of your things,"
"oh, wow, thanks, really, thank you." Josh said, happy to have everything he needed.

Josh got dressed and walked down stairs,
"oh Josh, good. So I will need to go to work today, so I was wondering if you'd like to stay here, or go stay with Tyler for a couple of hours?"
"If it's not to to much trouble, could I go visit Tyler please?"
"Okay dear, we can pick up some food on the way, we should head off soon, do you need to get anything?"
"Don't think so," Josh said walking to the door.
"Okay, let me get my purse, I'll meet you in the car."
Josh nodded and opened the door, sunlight flooding into his tired, red eyes.

He looked up to the window he was unknowingly interested in, the lights were off and the blck blinds were drawn.

//Later//

"Okay dear, I'll be back at about eight tonight. Text me if you need me, Tyler has my number." Miss Joseph said to Josh, "and remind Tyler I love him, and I will come in to get you, so don't worry about waiting outside."
"Okay, thanks."
Miss Joseph nodded and Josh left the car.
Josh walked towards the hospital, looking to all the windows, trying to decide wich one was Tylers, finally he decided on one on the second level, he knew that was what level he was on. But he decided on it because the curtains were blue, and closed, just like Josh.
He got into an elevator and pressed on the button to go to the second level,Josh hated being in elevators alone, he was always afraid that they'd get stuck and that he would die in them, but soon the doors pulled open and he walked out. Josh looked into every door, he found Tyler in the nineth room, no blue curtains.

"Tyler, are you up?" Josh whispered into the dark room.
"Yeah, Josh, I'm up."
Josh walked over to Tylers bed and Tyler sat up.
"So, did you sleep well here?"
"I guess, it was so quiet, it was kind of maddening so I kinda had to or I'd have gone crazy."
"Oh," Josh forced out a fake, dry laugh. "Your mom had me stay in your room last night, it was pretty nice."
Tyler nodded, not thinking much of what Josh was saying.

Josh sat, his hand was laced with Tylers.
"Josh?"
"Yeah Tyler?"
"Your nails," Tyler said shocked, "they have glitter on them?"
"Oh, um. Yeah." Josh said, picking at his nail polish.
"Josh, it's okay, it looks really cute on you."
Josh lightly turned pink,
"oh, um thanks."
"Do you have it with you?" Tyler asked.
"Yea, I think so, he said looking through his bag. I have pink, blue and just plain glitter."
"Do you want to paint my nails?"
"Sure," Josh said, "What colour?"
"Can I have blue, with glitter on top?" Tyler asked, excited.
"Definitely," Josh said, he unscrewed the lid of the blue, gently lifting Tylers left hand. He brushed the nail Polish over Tylers small hands,
"Gosh, that's cold."
Josh laughed,
"Yeah, I guess it is," he giggled. Josh finished Tylers one hand and picked up his next hand,
"Don't touch your nails, or use your hands really." Josh said as Tyler went to grab water,
"but I want a drink," Tyler huffed.
"Here, let me help you then," Josh said picking up Tylers cup, he lifted it to Tylers lips and tipped it up, letting the water dribble across Tylers lips and into his mouth. Tyler lifted his hand to signify he was done, Josh put the cup back down and continued painting Tylers nails.
"Is the blue on your other hand dried?"
Tyler looked at his hand and nodded, Josh grabbed the glitter and began painting it onto his nails.
"There, your hands look beautiful." Josh said examining Tylers hands, he flipped them over, pretending not to notice the scars on his arms. Josh traced over the lines in Tylers hands, then putting his hand back down.

"Josh?"
"Uh huh?"
"Thanks."
"For what?"
"Yesterday."
"Oh, I'm happy I did it."
"Why?"
"Because, I get to talk to you now."
"Thats kinda deranged."
"What?"
"Well, your happy I got beat up."
"No, no Tyler, I'm just happy I get to spend time with you."
Tyler giggled,
"I guess I'm happy to."

A crack of lightning ripped across the sky.

Tyler jumped.

Josh walked to the window, opening the blinds. The sky was dark and large droopy raindrops smacked against the window.

Another boom of thunder shook the earth.

Tyler let out a small yip.

"Tyler, hey, are you alright."
"Y-yeah," Tyler lied, "Josh, I'm fine."
"No you arnt Tyler," Josh said, he sat closer to Tyler holding his hands.
Tyler sat up and patted the peice of bed beside him, Josh scooted beside him and wrapping his arm around Tyler.
"Are you okay now?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine,"
"Anything you need, did they get you breakfast?"
"Not really, they gave me like, an apple and some toast."
"Want me to get you something?"
"I'll be fine, the nurses will bring me something soon enough."
"Oh, okay."

Lightning lit up the room. Tyler jumped in Josh's arms.
Josh looked down into Tylers eyes, trying to assure that he was okay. Tyler looked up into Joshs eyes, he leaned up a little, he pressed his lips on Josh's face. Josh's face stiffened, but he relaxed, realizing he was okay with what Tyler was doing. Eventually Tyler pulled his face away,
"J-Josh," Tyler said shocked, "I-Im so sorry."
Josh looked back at Tyler, his face lowered again pressing against his face, this time for a shorter time, but still just as lovely.
"Don't be sorry," Josh said to Tyler.
Tyler blushed,
"Im not," Tyler said, "I think I'm very happy I did it."
