Ch 86. Confused Along With Happiness

They were all sparkling. So beautiful. All the people inside here were tall, skinny, and everything you'd ever want. God, it was like watching the sky at night. Only stars.

Everybody was smiling, and talking to others but I could faintly see that many of them were acts and fake smiles. This is what you have to do after all when you become a celebrity. They want you to smile all the time and it ends up you've used up all the smiles and need to fake it. I won't let that happen to me though.

There were drinks on a table but I didn't dare to touch anything even if I was hungry and thirsty, because I couldn't tell which one that was alcohol-free. I looked at it for a while and sighed. I'll eat when I get back.

"This one has booze in it." someone said from behind. I looked back and saw an unknown woman. Of course, she was also stunning just like all the others here. I chuckled.

"I'm looking for the one without alcohol!" I laughed. She joined me and smiled afterwards but I kind of caught a funny look on her face but once I looked again it was gone. Probably imagining stuff.

"Here's one without alcohol then..." she said and gave me a drink. I gladly accepted it. "You really don't want liquor?"

"I'm sixteen. I don't think I can drink." I said and took a sip. It tasted good in the beginning but the after taste was kind of bitter and weird, but I was happy with anything since I was thrírsty.

"You do not look like sixteen!" she laughed and gently hit my shoulder. I smiled and asked her how old she was. "I'm nineteen." she replied taking a sip from her drink.

"And you don't look like you're nineteen either." I said. 

"I'll take it as a compliment." she grinned.

"Well you said the same thing to me!" I shrieked. 

"But I also want to be sixteen!" she laughed and took another drink. My drink was already gone and I wanted another one. I took the same kind and shoved it in. She looked really happy and I didn't know why. Maybe she liked me?

It didn't really matter, because I was unusually happy. I was laughing so much with her.

"By the way, what's your name?" I asked her.

"Nina. I'm a new artist." she smiled and asked me about my name.

"Sarah. Also new." 

This was the backstage's small party but once the cameras appeared in front of me I knew that they'll soon start airing.

"Everyone get to your seat." they called everyone. I didn't notice it before because I was so busy talking to Nina. I only remember that I was acting weird. I was more giggly and hugged her several times but luckily it didn't look like she minded about it. Okay I got away from my point, but I was sitting on a seat by the side and in front of me was a big stage. It reached around so the performed could probably walk around. This was an amazing stage. Though, the me right now didn't pay much attention to that and kept giggling with Nina because, luckily she was sitting next to me.

God we were goofing off. But once the cameras started airing the whole room got dark. I kept giggling but noticed that she was totally different. She didn't want to look bad in front of the cameras I knew. I went along with it when she reminded me why I was pumped up for this event. I can't do anything that'll ruin my career any more. Even if I was restless and all giggly I behaved and locked my eyes on the stage when there was a girl there talking, probably the host.
