Days have passed by and they have reached Saturday. I have thought about Ryan every day. I had mostly thought about our conversation. Every time I would think back to it, a strange feeling would enter my body. Was it love? I don't know, I had never felt real love for someone beside my family. I like Ryan's personality, he is kind, sweet and wise. He is good looking, but that doesn't buy me, good looks won't buy my heart. It has to be you who gets my attention, with your personality, with your thoughts, with your interests. You know what they say, you can't judge a book by its cover. My mother has been talking on and on about today. She had been really excited about Joan and her family. I have also been excited myself, when I had played the last time for Joan it was amazing, and I wanted to play like that again. Maybe I was also excited because I would see Ryan again. And that's why I have been thinking about him so much, he keeps me thinking all the time. At the moment I am sitting in the kitchen, having a conversation with my  mother.

"I have bought you a dress for tonight." She informed me. She looked up to me and then back to the salad she is eating.

"Why?" I was still wondering since when we had enough money to buy me so much dresses.

"You have to look stunning when you go out to perform."

"And the money?" She looked up to me and set her hand on mine.

"You know you don't have to worry about that, honey. We care about you as much as we care about Mason. We want to pay anything he needs, but we also want you to know we don't forget you. And when is the last time you got a new dress? I know you liked the last one. Your dad has told me how good you were when you played in the restaurant. He is so proud of you, Scarlett." Her eyes started twinkling. "I am also proud of you, you know that." I nodded slowly, "Besides you have caught the attention of a handsome young man," She was shining when she said the last sentence. I was thinking about who she could been talking about, but my telephone started ringing. I moved away from my mom’s hand and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Good morning ma'am, you're talking to Dustin, the receptionist, of the St. Vincent Hospital. May I know who I am speaking to?"

"You're speaking with Scarlett Holt." I said formal.

"O hello Scarlett, I am calling to inform you about your brothers results. They have arrived. Dr. Smith told me everything is perfectly fine with Mason. But he wants to see him again. He also mentioned that he wants to see your parents."

"That's good. I will tell my parents. When can they come?"

"Dr. Smith is available tomorrow, so if it suits you, you can come tomorrow."

"That's perfect. They will be there tomorrow. Thanks for informing."

"No problem. See you soon."

"Bye." With that I hung up.

"Who was that?" I heard my mother ask.

"It was the hospital. They have Mason's results. You and dad have to visit Dr. Smith tomorrow." I said.
