"I can't believe I came up here without falling of Candy." I told James happily. I carefully got of Candy, hoping that I wouldn't fall now. But luckily my feet landed perfectly on the ground. The sun was already shining brightly, which must mean it is already midday. The landscape I was surrounded by was far from everything I have ever seen in my life before. Trees have lost their leaves but if you looked closely you could see they are starting with preparing for the blooming. The grass lightly coloured, moving when the wind comes by, still when nothing moves. It is not an open field, but it isn't small either. It looks more like a corridor, and in the distance I can see something sparkling carefully. I immediately started wondering what was there, I wanted to take Ryan's hand and take him with me to it. But I controlled myself, maybe he has a better idea in mind.
"Where are we going now?" I asked.
"There." He pointed with his chin towards the sparkles I had been watching. He was busy with fasten the reins of Candy and Trey around the tree. Somehow me managed to get the reins tightly fastened while looking at me.
"How did you do that?" I didn't expect the reins to be long enough to fit around the tree.
"For me to know and you to find out." He winked at me and took place next to me.
I ignored him and changed the subject. "What is there?" I looked straight in front of me, towards the sparks we were walking.
"A lake." I already noticed that he wouldn't say much about it until we are there.
"How do you know about that lake? It seems gorgeous."
"It is. My mother has brought me and Tanner here maybe two times when we were little."
"You still remember how to get here, after two times seeing it?"
"I don't forget landscapes easily."
"You are really that into landscapes?"
"I am, are you?"
"I am too, I love mountains the most, that might be because I have never climbed one." I wasn't expecting to tell him this, but saying it went easily. And I liked that, it remembered me about talking to Dustin, my friend, I wondered why I thought about him right now. "Do you believe that if you think about someone the person is thinking about you too?"
He was thinking before he answered me, his eyebrows connected with each other. "Sometimes I do wonder if that is the truth, there are times on a day when I do believe it, but it has to be fate if it is like that."
"I believe the same." I agreed with him.
"Why did you ask?"
"I..." Should I tell him about Dustin? I couldn't decide if I would or if I wouldn't, he had clearly noticed otherwise he wouldn't clear his throat.
"Never mind, forget about it." Suddenly I felt guilty, maybe he had the feeling I didn't trust him, but the truth is that I don't know if I do, had I already told him something that was trustworthy?
"I.. I am sorry. It just suddenly popped into me." It sort of did.
"I know what you mean." I was about to answer him, ask him something to light up the situation, but we reached the lake and it got me speechless. I believe that got into Ryan too, because he didn't speak. Whoa, that was the only word that could describe this place perfectly, I wanted to say it out loud, my mouth ready, but my brain not able to send it to my mouth.
"I know." Ryan got my out of my trance while he spoke, what was he talking about? I tried my hardest to look up to him, and somehow I succeed, maybe because he is the beauty itself. The look in his eyes, it was always the same, kind and soft, loving and caring, his body... Charming, a body ever woman wishes for in a man, and he is standing in front of me. Why? I don't know and I don't know if I would like to know either.
