Dear Sera,
My new mom and Dad are taking great care of me and my brother. I know this world has gone to hell, but is it really the end? I have new brothers and sisters, and we are always together. Though I keep growing older, seeing as I am a year older as of yesterday, time really never moves here. We are all still brothers and sisters being raised by different parents who are normally only about ten years older than we are. My only worry is that my brother will forget our parents. Our real parents. Mom and Dad helped me build their graves, but it doesn't make it any less painful even after half a year. Why did everything have to change like this... I mean... I'm almost two different people. Myself, and the one I have become. I am just as the darkness. I fade in and out as my mom can, but at least my new big brother has me helping with medicine, so I am not just some soldier. At least my little brother is getting an education.... well Sera... I miss you. I hope you are alright, and that We will meet again. If not in this life, in the next. You and our new mom and dad are about the same age, but I think you would like them anyway.
Sincerely,
Bri Revel

As I opened my eyes once more, I saw Bri writing a letter at the desk. I tried to get up, but I winced in pain. Had that fight really done this to me? I can't just stay here... I need to be stronger than that. I need to be awake... And strong... To lead their revolution.... I struggled to shift upright yet again, And ended up shaking from the amount of pain that shot through my body. Bri turned to me and walked over.
"How long have you been awake?" Bri questioned me.
"Just a few minutes... I have to get up now... How is everyone?" I muttered trying to get up again, but Bri stopped me.
"Mom, no. You can not do that. There is no way I am going to let you get up. You obviously are in pain. There is no way to make it worse..." Bri said softly.
"Bri... I just have to be strong... I can't afford to be down for the count." I sighed.
"You died Mom! You freaking died. So how does that not warrant you rest? Bri hissed at me.
"Aaron never rested, and he died. Twice." I smiled slightly at her.
"Well, this is on Kade, Mine, and Aaron's order. So, you are overruled." Bri smirked.
"Fine... I'll rest... For now. I'll fight you on that later...." I said calmly.
"Don't make me restrain you." Bri said with a smile before going back to her letter.
Oh Bri... You are meant to be a child... I am sorry that all of this responsibility was thrust upon you... I know this can't be easy for you. After what seemed as an eternity of silence, Aaron walked into the room.
"You're awake... Mari.... Thank God you are alright....I was so worried...-We all were.... Mari... I need to tell you something... It's about Jayda." Aaron paused, but then continued. " Jayda and her friends left a little bit ago. They don't know when they will be back. But Jayda wanted me to take care of you..." Aaron smiled slightly.
"I think she may be warming up to you... " I smiled brightly at him.
Keaton ran into the room, and started to tug on Bri's hand. "Play with me sissy!" He giggled. Bri grinned slightly before leaving the room.
Aaron looked me in the eyes and smiled slightly, "Your eye are still as radiant as the shining stars on the day I met you... "
I felt myself turning red and shifted around, slightly uncomfortable. Aaron just smiled.
"You are too cute... It's not fair.... I fall in love with you more every day....." Aaron smiled slightly and took my hand in his.
All I could do was smile, and get lost in his ocean eyes, as Aaron bent down and kissed my forehead.
"I know you want to get going, but you need to be fully recovered. I mean it Mari. You can't be so reckless as to through away your own life. I won't let you die as some martyr. Promise me you will be careful. Please Mari..." Aaron muttered softly.
I gently squeezed his now shaking hands and smiled slightly at him before saying. "I promise I'll be more careful... But you of all people know I won't stop protecting the people I love. No matter what!" I said calmly.
"Nor will I m'lady... You aren't going to die. I'm going to be the one to protect you." Aaron smiled slightly.
My vision blurred, and pain swept through my body. Why... This can't be right... I felt myself shaking, and my heart began to race... Not this again... it wasn't me... who is it... who is hurt... who is... who... Who am ? Who am I to ask such questions... To worry about the world as it fades to darkness? The pain continued to blind me. I could barely even feel Aaron now.... It was my dad... I was sure of it... Something was wrong.... Is he alive... If he is... Not for much longer if we can't find him...
I jerked upright at the end, my heart beating out of my chest. Aaron had his hand on my arm, and pulled me closer to him, sheltering me. "it is okay... You are okay Mari..." Aaron whispered to me, running his fingers through my hair.
I managed to smile slightly, though I was still in pain, and the fear was threatening to take control again.
"Nothing is going to happen.... I am going to protect you..." Aaron smiled and pulled me closer.
"Thank you..." I managed to say, still unsure of what to tell him about the bad feeling I had gotten.
"You know you can't hide what you are thinking from me... Please... Just tell me what is wrong..." Aaron smiled slightly.
"Aaron... It was the feeling I just got... Someone I care for is dying... I think it is my dad....
"Your dad? I don't know Mari..." Aaron said skeptical of my thoughts.
"I can sense him Aaron... I know him.... I whispered. I started shifting forward, to try any get up, but Aaron stopped me.
"I don't want you to get hurt again Mari. Your father wouldn't either." Aaron said gently.
"But... I have to save him... He's in danger... Aaron... I have to..." I pleaded with him, and pushed off the bed. Aaron stopped me, and took me in his arms.
"Not this time. You are not hurting yourself again. I won't allow that." Aaron said sternly.
"Fine..." I sighed. "But if I am healed according to Willis, we are going to look for him... We have to..." I said softly, clenching my fists. This my last chance to have my family back together... My last chance to have a mentor again... My father. I have to save him, for he would do the same were our situations reversed.
