"Dude, you should just tell her"
The whispers from BTS continued to echo through the library walls and I inwardly sighed.
I'm so sick of all of this waiting. I know that J-hope has liked me for a few months now but he won't tell me that to my face. Every time he tries he becomes a stuttering mess and runs away screaming bloody murder.
Focusing back on my book again, I got a few minutes of study before there was a small tap on my shoulder bone.
Turning my head slightly I could see J-Hope standing beside me with his hands trembling in my presence.
"Hey J" I spoke happily as I turned around to meet the boy's eyes, trying my very hardest to make it look like I wasn't ticked from how he had interrupted me from my study.
"Uh hey Y/N" he spoke as his voice stuttered. How cute.
"Uh I was w-wondering I-if uh maybe you'd....." He trailed off as his eyes moved down to the ground and not towards me.
I sighed heavily and he looked up as I did.
"J-Hope-" I began as I placed both my hands in my lap.
"Do you like me?" I asked and the boy stood frozen in his place. After a few moments he gathered the courage to nod. I let a small smile grace my lips.
"Do you want me to be your girlfriend?" I asked and his eyes widened at my question.
He nodded once again and my smile grew.
"Well then, grow some balls and ask me" I sat there, awaiting his proposal.
"Y/N, I really like you and I have for a while now, I'm hoping now that I've confessed you feel the same way, so Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?"
I could myself grin before I replied.
"I like you too, so of course!"
J-Hope's shy figure soon began to jump around the room like a bouncy ball. His smile covering his whole face as he jumped up and down for joy.
I could even hear his friend's wolf whistle and laugh at their friend's success.
I'm just happy that I can call him mine.
