Xiumin rubbed his hand over your stomach gently, just like he did every night since he found out You were pregnant.
He placed his lips to your stomach before smiling his contagious grin.
"Hey baby, I'm your dad" it was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen, seeing your husband so into having a one sided conversation with your unborn child.
Of course you were only a week away from your due date and everything had seemed so frantic lately. The two of you finished painting your little girl's room about a month ago.
You had painted the nursery pastel yellow, the crib and bookshelf were a creamy white. Of course Xiumin had no idea how to put up the bookshelf or the crib, so he had discretely called all the other EXO members for help. It took all nine members about three hours to get both of the structures stable, after they had collapsed several times.
Xiumin had since been trying to persuade you into letting him take care of you before the birth, he wanted to take time off from work and promotions to stay at home with you and your child, but of course, you being the independent person that you are said no.
He was so excited for his baby girl. This was your first child and after being married for two years already, you were sure the both of you could handle it.
"You know we still haven't confirmed any names.." Xiumin trailed off as he drew patterns over your stomach. You nodded a little as you shivered under his touch. The effects he had on you were crazy.
"Yeah I know, what was our favourite?" You asked as you ran a hand through his soft hair, the darkness lighting up his skin and eyes like fairy lights.
"How about....Maria?" You had never heard that suggestion before and you honestly loved it.
"Kim Maria?" You asked. You spoke trailing from his hair to caress his face.
"Yes, hello there Kim Maria" he spoke to your stomach once again as you beamed.
