"Miss? Would you possibly be able to point me in the direction of the makeup section?"
A young male with a voice as sweet and smooth as honey distracted me from the till and I looked at him with a small smile as my front.
"Absolutely sir, I'll take you there now-" I stepped down from the till platform and stood down next to the man before realising how much taller he was than myself.
Wow. Tip; grow taller.
I took large steps as the man followed behind me eagerly but also seemed to be in a hurry. He was scurrying behind me quiet quickly, almost passing me with each step.
"Sir are you alright?" I asked with a concern lacking voice.
My voice seemed to distract the man from his thoughts as e looked up at me with confusion.
"Uh yes, I am"
He's totally out of it.
"Well this is it, so you need any help with what you're looking for?" I asked, trying to stay with a fine male specimen then ringing up some old woman's concealer and conditioner.
"Yes thank you, I'm looking for the uh.....eyeliner" he spoke the last part of his sentence in a hushed tone as he leaned forward quiet a lot to whisper quiet closely to my ear.
I giggled a little at how discrete he was trying to be.
"That's right over here, now tell me; is this for your girlfriend? Wife? Lover?" I asked as I guided him to the large rack of different coloured eyeliners.
The man's eyes widened a little at what I was asking before he looked down to the well polished but scuffed tile flooring.
"Uh, not exactly"
"Ohhh" I spoke knowingly. It's for him, not wonder his eyes look so intimidating yet attractive at the same time.
"Do you get many men looking for eyeliner?" He asked shyly as he looked down to his tangled hands and I smiled at how nervous he was.
"Sometimes, but usually it would be for a possible lover" my statement and honest answer seemed to make him hide a little more before I broke the silence.
"Do you need any help finding a specific colour or brand?" I asked with a friendly glance, trying my best to change the awkward tension into one of a happier setting.
"Oh, yes please, if you wouldn't mind. I'm looking for a simple black pencil, no specific brand" he spoke as he looked behind him in search of any judging onlookers.
Pulling a large pencil from the rack I refilled every day I handed it to the man before offering another smile as I leaned in a little closer.
"Don't be worried about buying eyeliner, first off you look handsome and second you look like you're buying it for your girlfriend, don't worry" I spoke as I decided to turn away and leave the man in the isle to find whatever else he had to find.
"Wait!" The man called from the middle of nearly abandoned isle. I turned around very quickly due to the fact that I was quite startled and I watched him with wide eyes as I awaited his next words.
"Uh...-" he seemed to be trying to keep me in his presence.
"-help me with the tester!" He spoke hurriedly as he picked up a random stick from the rack.
As I took ahold of the stick I couldn't help but smirk at how he would look after it.
He had chosen a bright sparkly green eyeliner and he leaned in a little for me to be able to apply the liner on the outsides of his lids.
Once I was finished applying the eyeliner I let a laugh escape my lips at how bright his eyes looked and how much he reminded me of those kids that drag their parents to the shops after transforming themselves with all their 'fake' makeup kits.
Truly tragic but funny at the same time.
"All done. You don't look that bad actually." It took a moment for me to adjust myself to be able to accept the colour of the eyeliner and I Smiled at the good job I did.
"Oh my gosh" the man spoke as he peered at himself closer in the mirror before cussing a little under his breathe.
"Would you like me to find some makeup remover?" I asked with a small smile, trying desperately to not let my laughs get out of control. It's rude to laugh at a customer.
"No thank you, can you please ring up my purchase" the man went form a sulky young girl to a brave man in seconds and his transformation was so quick it left me startled.
"Uh sure" I spoke worriedly, he doesn't even want to wipe off the the eyeliner, I don't understand.
As I stood at the counter and pressed his item by the scanner I watched him stare at me with innocent eyes as his fingers held onto the edge of the counter as he swung forwards and backwards; much like a child.
"You look ridiculous" I laughed sweetly as I placed his receipt on the counter in front of his hands and his smiled at me with a large grin.
"I know" he spoke as his shoulders lifted upwards to add to his cute smile.
"Would you maybe... Be able to place your own digits under the digits printed" his shoulders went upwards in a shrug as a small smug smile lifted itself onto his lips.
This caught me so off guard. I didn't expect this.
"Sure thing, I knew you only wore that green eyeliner for something" I smiled as I looked around the shop, making sure my boss was nowhere in sight as I scribbled down my phone number messily on the bottom of the blank receipt.
"I'll see you soon-" the man lifted his upwards a little to catch sight of the name tag I had pressed to my shirt.
"-Y/N!" He spoke excitedly as he exited loudly, disturbing a large amount of the customers in the store.
"Have a good day..." I called out.
"Baekhyun" he spoke and I smiled at the sound of his name.
"Have a good day Baekhyun" I whispered under my breathe as the woman standing at the counter gave me a sly wink.
Two days later:
"Hey Y/N, it's Baekhyun! I know your probably at work right now but I want to schedule a date with you! What days suit you best?-"
"Hey Baekhyun!"
