Your boyfriend Kai was one of those boyfriends that was always looking out for you, he was affectionate but what comes with affectionate is being protective.
Kai was protective and very easily jealous.
Chanyeol and Kai had decided that today was the day to go to the basketball game and you had invited your best friend D.O over.
You both lay on the lounge with your feet over his lap as he laughed at the drama on the screen.
You giggled a little as you felt D.O shift a little below you.
You could hear the front door open from the living room and you could tell by the heavy footsteps that it was your boyfriend.
"Jagi?" You could hear your boyfriend call and you didn't hesitate to call back.
"Kai!" You called back and you could hear the heavy footsteps get closer to you on the creaky floorboards.
Not long after and your boyfriend appeared in the door way.
His dyed blond hair a little messy; his tall and toned body rugged up in warming Clothing to protect him from the harsh cold weather.
"Jagi? D.O?" Your boyfriend seemed confused as he stared in between the two of you with his large eyes.
"D.O why are you here?" You could sense the jealously laced in Kai's deep voice and you gently removed your feet from your best friend's lap.
"Cause Y/N is my best friend" D.O spoke as he looked between your boyfriend and you with his massive penguin eyes.
You could cut the tension with a knife and you automatically felt awkward and caught up between the two.
You heard a deep agitated sigh leave your boyfriend's soft lips as he stomped his way down the hallway and up the stairs.
He's pissed.
You let out a deep sigh of your own as you watched D.O put on his jacket and place on his outdoor shoes.
"Okay well he's pissy so I'll leave you to tame the beast" your best friend laughed as he gave you his large heart shaped smile.
You returned the smile before saying your goodbyes and you trodded your way up the stairs.
"Kai" you called as you heard your voice echo through the empty hallway at the top of the staircase.
"Here" you heard your boyfriend call from the bedroom and you made your way quietly inside.
Your handsome boyfriend sat on the edge of the bed with his head in between his knees cursing to himself quietly.
"Jagi?" You spoke quietly trying your best not to startle him.
He looked up from his knees to meet your eyes before frowning a little.
As much as you loved Kai's expressions; his frown was your least favourite.
"What's wrong?" You asked as you positioned yourself behind him on the bed; sitting yourself up on your knees you wrapped your arms around your boyfriend neck before cuddling up to him.
You heard him sigh contently as he held your hands before replying.
"You like D.O?" Your boyfriend asked.
"He's my best friend Kai. Nothing more. You don't need to worry about a thing" you spoke with reassurance.
"I love you Kai" you spoke sweetly as you placed a soft kiss on the delicate skin of his neck and you felt him shiver underneath your touch.
"I love you Jagi" he replied.
"Never leave me for D.O" he said confidently as he found his composure before laying back into your touch.
"Never" you spoke.
