Melanies POV <3

I woke up to my alarm clock, I would have ignored it but the beeping was so irritating.

I lifted up my head to see what time it was, the glowing blue numbers said 7:00am.

I groaned, then hit snooze and dropped my head on my pillow again.

"Melanie! You have to get up. School today, remember?" Aunt Nina said opening my bedroom door.

At the second she said 'school', I jumped out of bed.

" I'm up, thanks." I said as I started looking through boxes of clothes that I haven't unpacked.

"nervous for school?" Nina asked leaning by my doorway.

I let out a shaky laugh, "yes. Definitely yes."

"don't worry, I'm sure Tyler and Damon will help you out."

I looked up at her, "Yeah. I'll be fine, it's just that I'm not used to going to a new school with new people, and without my friends."

She nodded, "I know how you feel, but you will get used to it. So did you have fun yesterday?"

I smiled remembering yesterday, "yeah I did. Tyler and Damons friends were fun......they were also kind of weird...but in a good way."

She laughed, " I know right! I love hanging out with those guys. They make me feel young again."

I looked at her weirdly then laughed. " you're not even old Nina! You are 22 years , not 30."

She rolled her eyes, "yeah well whatever. Okay so hurry up and get ready for school while I go down stairs and make you some breakfast."

After she said breakfast , my stomach growled. "I'd love that, Thanks" I said laughing.

"No problemo." she laughed closing the door behind her.

I picked out my clothes and laid them on my bed. I grabbed my towel and headed to my bathroom to take a shower.

After I showered I dressed into light blue skinny jeans, a strapless pale pink shirt, and my black Toms.

I put on my gold heart necklace my dad gave me, and my friendship bracelet that was the same as Baylie and Liam's .

I went back to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, then I brushed my hair.

I blow dried my hair and left it down.

My golden brown hair was wavey and had slight curls on the tips.

Then I put on a little makeup.

I looked in the mirror and decided that I was ready to go.

I headed back to my room and grabbed my old backpack that I used for my old school.

Hopefully I could reuse all of my school supplies as well.

I headed down stairs and I could smell pancakes.

When I entered the kitchen Aunt Nina was flipping a pancake on the pan.

"do you like pancakes?" she asked turning around to grab a plates out of the cabinet.

"yeah......But why are you making so many?" I asked looking at the huge stack of pancakes.

"Well, I'm also making some for Tyler and Damon. And knowing them, they are going to eat a lot." she said turning off the stove.
