"Shizuo-chan," Izaya calls to me. I go into his room and he stretches out his arms. "Carry me."
"Why? I don't want to," I reply. He's been giving me outrageous requests for the past few days.
"Are you calling me fat?" He pouts.
"No. And why would I even think about calling a former anorexic person fat?" That's one of the positive side-effects from him waking up. He actually eats....a lot; maybe even too much at times, but he seriously hasn't gained any weight.
He ignores me. "You lift vending machines, but you can't pick me up? You're awfully rude, Shizu-chan~"
"Izaya," I tell him. "I'm not saying I can't pick you up; I just won't."
His pout deepens. "That's mean, Shizu-chan. I'm blind and I can't walk around by myself. My life is completely fucked up now and you won't even ease that pain."
I sigh. He's been pulling the disability card the entire time I've been here. I sit down beside him. "You just want to be carried. You probably don't even have a destination."
"I do, too, Shizu-chan." He turns toward me and rubs his hands over my waistline.
"It's not going to work." I tell him. He's trying to seduce me so I'll give him what he wants. I will not fall victim again.
He moves his hand to the opposite side to hug me. "I'm not doing anything, Shizu-chan. I can't see where to put my hands." He smiles and kisses me.
I get up. "Stop it."
"I'm not doing anything!" He reaches in my direction and almost falls off the bed. "That's not fair!"
"Stop being lazy and get up," I tell him.
He pats the bed beside him. "Come here."
I shake my head. "No. Where did you want to go anyway?"
He gives me a mischievous smile. "In your pants."
I frown at him. "Izaya..."
"Yes, Shizu-chan?" My lover tries his best to act innocent.
I shake my head. "I'm going. Take care of yourself."
He jumps off the bed and shuffles over to me. "No! Don't leave me."
In his hurry towards me, he slips on a blanket strewn across the floor. I catch him before he falls. "Don't worry. I won't leave you."
He hugs me. "You're mean , you know that?"
I laugh, "Then why are you hugging me?"
"Because you're stupid."
"That doesn't make sense. Are you sure it was only your eyesight that was damaged in the crash?" I feel slightly guilty about mentioning the accident, but he doesn't seem to mind.
"It does make sense," Izaya argues. "Nobody likes you because you're too stupid to be around, so I'm hugging you out of pity."
"It doesn't look like pity to me." He rubs his face on me and mumbles something into my shirt. I wrap my arms around him and put my chin on the top of his head.
"Shizu-chan," he says.
"Hm?"
"I wish I wasn't blind." I feel a pang in my chest. I wish I could help him, but there's nothing I can do. I stay silent. I don't want to upset him.
"I want to see you. I took it for granted before. Am I an awful person?"
"Of course not. Why do you think that?"
"I'm selfish. I want to be with you more than you want to be with me, and I'd want to keep our relationship, even if you weren't happy."
"But I am happy with you," I tell him and lift up his chin. I kiss his lips. "Okay? I will always love you, so you don't have to worry about that."
He kisses me again, but we are soon interupted by a knock at the door. I start to walk in the direction, but Izaya jumps on my back as soon as I turn around.
"What are you doing?"
"I don't want to be left behind." I sigh and allow him to stay on until we reach the living room. Then I dump him on the couch. "Stay."
I go to the door and open it to reveal a certain smiling doctor.
"Hello, Shizuo!" He beams. "May I come in?"
"That's not really up to me, but you can come on in anyway," I scoot back to allow passage.
"How are you feeling, Izaya?" He asks as he walks into the living room.
My lover ignores the question. "What are you doing here?"
"That's awfully uninviting," he responds and places a bag down. "I'm going to have a check-up every week or so to make sure everything is okay with you."
"I don't want to. Go home," he complains.
"Oh, don't be difficult," our friend says joyfully. "You can stay in here or go somewhere else, Shizuo. It's your choice."
"Stay here, Shizu-chan," Izaya inputs.
I start to go into his room. "Have fun, Izaya."

I would write more, but I'm really tired and I've had an awful week. I just need some sleep and hopefully I'll be not as dead mentally as I am today, tomorrow. Also, I'm just going to leave this unedited for now (I act like I edit it! I'm such a loser!) because I would like to come back and laugh at my pathetic mistakes when I feel better about myself.
Also, this is probably nearing it's end with a couple chapters left, but I'm not quite sure. I'm pretty much done with the plot and unless I can think of something else, this will be the end soon.
Bye, bye!
