Hey guys, I just want to let you know that in some chapters from now things won't just be in Cia's point of view but in Sam or Dean's as well. Just saying this before you started reading so I didn't cause any confusion.
Cia's POV:
I walk around the upper area of the river, holding my EMF meter out to detect any fields. Since Sam and I are pretty much looking in the same place, I head further up the stream. The top of some stones are peeking out of the water to I step onto them to see if I can catch any better fields while in the middle of the river rather than just the banks so that I cant get a full 360 degree scan with the meter. Still finding nothing, I walk even further up where there is a bit of a hill, making the river form into a small waterfall. This place is actually quite nice, the water is clear and just the right temperature. I would probably have liked to come here to relax in the water, if only there weren't people who have gone missing and died here. I watch as Sam wades across to the other side, and then I follow since there's nothing much to find on this side of the river. I splash over to the other side and I start looking around a bit more. After getting tired from walking up and down, I crouch onto my knees and hold the EMF meter over the water. I crawl to different areas when suddenly all five lights on the meter flare up and a hand grabs mine and pulls me into the water. I scream as I'm dragged into the river and mud goes everywhere as I hit the riverbed, blocking out any last rays of light. I hear someone scream my name in the distance as my struggles to get out from whatever is holding me down get weaker and weaker until I just stop fighting. In my last moments of consciousness I hear someone jump into the water as the weight on my chest fades away and someone lifts me up from the water. Thats all I remember before everything goes black.
Sam's POV:
I look to my right as I hear a scream and see a hand shoot out of the water and pull Cia in. Dean looks up from where he was investigating as well, and we both hurry over to where Cia was dragged in.
"Cia!" I scream as I jump into the water, hopefully not too late. I can't see anything since mud from the bottom of the river has made the once clear water brown and murky. I feel around the riverbed until I touch something, just to find out later that it is Cia's arm. I haul her out of the water and lay her on the grass. I start doing my CPR that I learned in Uni when she still doesn't wake up. I am about to do the mouth to mouth when Dean pushes me out the way.
"I think it's my turn now." he says, cracking his knuckles.
Cia's POV:
I wake up with a feeling that I can't breathe. I start to cough up water and I find myself laying on the grass by the river. I see Dean hovering over me and before I know it he tries to press his face down on mine. I slap him in the face.
"I'm good." I cough softly. Sam helps me up and then walks over to Dean. He laughs and pats him on the back.
"What did I say? Fails like a bitch." Sam laughs a bit more and then heads over to me.
"I feel like you might want to head back." He says.
"Yeah," I say back, "I feel like I've had enough water for today." Clouds starts gathering as we head down the trail. By the time we have come halfway rain starts pouring down heavily. The trail gets muddy as we start running back to the car. We reach the end of the trail just to find that we are in a much worse situation than we were before.
"SON OF A BITCH" Dean yells as he sees that the back wheels of the car have been submerged in wet and sloppy mud.
"Alright guys, I'll get in the car and start reversing," Dean shouts over the pitter pattering of the rain, "you guys go to the front and start pushing the car." Sam and I head around to the front of the car and we start to push it backwards. I don't think I've ever used my muscles this much since I'm such a lazy lil bitch. After a few... hundred tries we finally get the car out of the mud and we hurry inside. I get in and slump onto the seat with fatigue.
"Never knew you had muscles like that." Dean "compliments" me, "Do you work out?" He asks.
"Oh, please," I roll my eyes, "I don't exercise, I exorcise." I make a terrible joke.
"Hmmf" Sam lets out a small laugh-sigh sort of thing. Halfway through the ride I start feeling very cold. I bring my knees up to my chest although it makes nearly no difference since all of my clothes are wet through.
As soon as we reach the house I don't even bother unlocking the door I just ram into it and the crappy locks gives way. The door opens and I run up to the shower. I turn on the hot water, strip and get in, the warm water soothing my skin. I stand in the shower for what feels like 20 minutes until I decide that it's time to get out. Just as I step out I realise that three days ago I threw away four of my towels that had gotten mouldy and my other two are in the wash. I mutter curses under my breath as I put on my undergarments which are just a bit damp but no longer wet. I open the bathroom door and peek out into the hallway, making sure that its clear for me to go and take a blanket form the basket. I run over to my room, grabbing a blanket on the way. I wrap my self in the blanket and fall backwards onto my bed, giggling since it felt like I was playing secret agent like a little child. I close my eyes and eventually fall asleep, still wrapped in the blanket.
If you guy feel that these chapters aren't so interesting, trust me they will get more interesting. Just remember that hunters don't hunt every second of the day! Soon Cia and the Bros will encounter something new at the river... But the only way for you guys to find out if for you to keep reading! (once I've updated the next chapter of course)
