Just gonna get right into it;
Cia's POV:
"What on earth does he think he's doing?" I stomp to my feet. Dean has just headed out the door, claiming he had a plan.
"He's probably already well on his way, I don't think we can get him back yet since he's got the car keys." Sam tells me.
"Nope, he doesn't. Those were the keys to the cabin, I've got the ones to the car right here." I told the car keys to Dean's black Chevy Impala so that Sam can see. At that moment, Dean storms through the door, and points his finger at me.
"You have GOT to stop doing that!" he gives me a very angry look, "Hand 'em over." He drops his hand from pointing at me to holding it out, asking for the keys.
"Not until you tell me what you're gonna do." I pull the keys back.
"I gotta agree with Cia on this one. We should know exactly what you're planning on doing." Sam chimes in.
"Alright, alright. So heres how its gonna go," Dean begins as he sits down by the table, "I'm gonna go to the police station, apply for a job right, and then I'm gonna go through the files on the computer until I come across this one of our friend Chrissy Silver,"
Sam corrects Dean, "Kristopher Silva - "
"Yeah I don't give a rat's butt." Dean cuts him off, "so then I'll get his file, and export it down on this USB right here," he holds up a dark blue USB stick, "and then I'll get the security camera footage of the night the kids went missing. Then I'll spill coffee on someone's documents or their computer and get myself fired. Simple as that." Dean concludes.
"That sounds like it would actually work." I put my hand on my chin and think, "There's no way you'd be able to do it without us though. Come on, lets go." I startle Dean by throwing the car keys at his chest. We head out to the car and Dean starts the engine. Not after long we are headed to the police station.
Dean's POV:
"Leave me to do this myself." I say as I pass Sam the car keys. I leave the two behind in the parking lot as I go to the entrance of the police station. I walk through the front double doors with a smile. I approach the front desk.
"Hey there, I'd like to apply for a job." I rest my arm on the counter and flash my best smile. The dude at the counter looks pretty happy as he looks up with a smile.
"That's great, we're really understaffed here. I take you've seen the job application posters outside?" the guy keeps smiling at me.
"Yes, yes I have." I nod.
"Well, just fill in this quick survey and sign this form and we'll get right into it. I'll go get you your uniform. And your name is...?" Shit I forgot to think of a name. Out of all the damn things.
"Uhh. James. James... James Schmabel." That better have gone smoother than I thought.
"Well, James...." The counter dude walks to a room in the back and then comes back out, "Welcome to the force." He smiles at me as he hands me my police uniform. He tells me his name is Joey and he gives me a walkthrough on everything. He shows me how to use comms and other gadgets. Little does he know, that I already know how to use all of these. Joey walks me to my desk and gives me a stack of files to sort as a training project. I need to sort them to alphabetical order and then type the file names onto the police online web files. This gives me the perfect chance to get information on Kristopher Silva. I search up his name and I find his file. The problem is, I am not authorised to look into the file since I am still just a trainee. Instead I go the the page with the security footage files and download the one of the teenagers down onto my USB. I get up and tell Joey that I forgot my cell phone in my car. I head out and walk over to the Impala. Sam and Cia are still waiting inside.
"Good news is that I got the job, bad news is that I have no authorisation to look at the file of Kristopher. I'm gonna have to get it from the file room, which is across from the bathroom. Its not just the file room though, it's also the chief officer's office. Cia, you're gonna have to come with me and go hysterical about something and demand to talk to the chief. You're gonna distract him while I sneak into the file room and then out." I walk them through everything.
"Alright, let's get into it. I always wanted to act when I was younger." Cia smiles as her eyes drift off somewhere into her past. She snaps back into reality and goes ahead of me to the station, she ruffles her hair to try to look more distressed I'm guessing. She bursts into the station and starts to create a scene. Demanding to talk to the chief - as planned - Joey and I take her there. We leave as soon shes been dropped off. I pretend to need the bathroom and I go around to the chief's office. He is sitting with his back facing the space from the door to the room with the files. Cia seems to be doing very well, she looks hysterical. She's crying and stuttering as if she was really in a situation. Impressive. I slip behind into the file room and search under the letter K for Kristopher. When I don't find anything, it's only possible that the file is under S for Silva. Not after long I find the file, and since I don't have any pockets I slide it up from the bottom of my pants. I scurry out as quickly as I can, accidentally knocking over a stack of sorted papers from a table, and spilling orange juice over them. The chief walks out his office, looking pretty damn agitated.
"What the hell is going on here?" He yells, and then looks at me. "YOU! I knew you looked sketchy when I first saw you! You're FIRED!" He points to the door for me to leave. I hear Cia thank the chief as she follows me through the door shortly.
"That was some pretty damn good acting back there." I compliment her.
"I know." she smirks as she walks ahead to the car.
"Oh what wasn't long. It only took you over two hours!" Sam exclaims sarcastically when we get to the car.
"Shut up and move over." I tell him. I ignite the engine and we make our way back to the hotel. When we pass a supermarket Cia says "STOP." really loudly.
"What is it?" I ask, annoyed.
"I want to get some poptarts." She gets out the car and walks up to the supermarket. She returns after around 10 minutes with three boxes of s'mores flavoured poptarts. We drive back in silence and Cia pulls out a silver packet of poptarts. She opens it and the sweet smell floods the inside of the car. I feel hungry. Once we get back to the motel, Cia carried the poptars straight to her room, and then comes to ours.
"So what do we have?" She sits down, still nibbling on a poptart. I begin the read the Police report out loud;
"State Department Report: Case #168: Filed 10.28 PM on 11/04/2005..."
That's it for now. Hey hey, don't leave yet. I promise you I have this whole hunt planned out and it's gonna get waaaaay more interesting. I do apologise again for not updating for a long time, I hope I'll be able to update the next few chapters more frequently. And just so you guys know, this didn't end with a cliffhanger, I just thought that writing the whole police report that was already in the beginning of the chapter before wouldn't be so interesting.
Love y'all,- Tove :D
