"Let me get this straight," I said, "you want us, the Avengers to go after a teenager?"

   "A teenage terrorist," Fury corrected.

Steve let out a growl. Capsicle really must hate terrorism.

"What did he do?" Natasha said quickly.

"Blew a hole in the St. Louis Arch. Not to mention blowing up several schools." Fury answered calmly.

Thor walked in, having just returned from Asgard, half a pop tart in his mouth. He saw the name on the file and choked a little.

"Perseus Jackson?" He asked after swallowing. "What do you plan on doing with him?"

"Bring him in. Question him. Lock him up if needed."

"Fury, that would be a bad move. You do do not want him as your enemy. Or his family." He whispered that last part so Fury wouldn't hear.

"He is a threat to public safety!"

"I will not detain him! That poor kid has already done enough," I swore there was pity in the god's eyes. He stormed out.

"Well then, the rest of you detain Perseus. Use force if necessary."

"All right, let's suit up." I said clapping my hands together.

     Percy
I woke up screaming. Nightmares have been plaguing me ever since the giant war. Even though it was a month ago. Every night the same thing. I'm surprised I haven't went crazy yet. Or maybe I am crazy.

I need to relax. I'm not going to the cemetery. That would probably make them worse.

The beach. That's where I'll go. I slip on a blue hoodie. I feel cold most of the time anymore. This must be what it feels like when you're dead inside.

I step outside of the apartment building into the bright sunlight. Could Apollo be any more annoying?

I walked with my head down, hands in my pockets. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen. When doesn't that happen?

I looked up noticing I was at the boardwalk.

I took off my shoes before stepping on the beach. I walked to where the waves barely reached. I let them lap over my feet before closing my eyes and relaxing.

Water was one of the places I felt at ease. I would be rejuvenated from it and, even though I asked to be left alone, I knew my dad would be watching me.

I was enjoying myself, when of a sudden my instincts started acting up. I glanced up to see an arrow headed towards me. I caught it in midair. I examined the arrow. It wasn't the Hunters, they knew better than to mess with me after what happened.

This arrow was black and had a syringe instead of an arrowhead. I felt the water in it.

A tranquilizer. Great, so someone is trying to capture me. Probably mortals. Monsters wouldn't have been as discreet. But then again, Alecto did disguise herself as a pre-algebra teacher.

I heard footsteps behind me. Stupid ADHD, you're gonna get me killed. I turned  and a redhead wearing all black quickly hid her surprise.

(I suck at battle scenes. Read on if you dare- Author)

She tried to sweep my legs out from under me. I jumped over like it was nothing. After what I've been through it was nothing.

On my way down I kicked her in the stomach before pulling the same trick on her. She fell with an oomph. She wasn't expecting me to be a trained fighter. Well, I was trained by the best.

I pinned her to the ground.

   "Who are you people?!"

Instead of answering, which I found quite rude, she tried to headbutt me. I leaned to the right, when she kicked my off.

She was trained, that much was obvious. But, who trained her?

She through a punch at my face, hoping to catch me off guard. I ducked around it. The way she fights reminds my off the girls.

No Percy don't think about them. She tried another punch and hit me in the cheek.

I put a hand to my cheek. Nothing was broken but that would probably leave a bruise.

"What do you have in those gloves!? Weights!?" I swear she hits almost as hard as Clarisse. What!? I did say almost.

She again didn't answer, she was quite rude. I was getting tired off this game when I heard another person coming.

Time to finish this. Sorry Red, I thought as I threw a punch that made her head snap back.

I turned around to see a punch coming straight at my face. I dodged it, being the amazing incredible Percy Jackson.

The dude had a quiver of arrows on his back. He looked surprised. He was rather sloppy with close combat. He obviously prefers ranged combat. I knocked him out rather quickly.

I was about to head back when two people came out at the same time. One was flying in a tin suit, the other was running in a patriotic spandex suit.

"For gods sake, can't I get a day off?" I whispered. Fates always have to screw with my life don't they?

The tin man fired a laser that I easily dodged. I focused and froze the water particles around him, making the suit malfunction. He crashed with a bang.

Uncle Sam threw his shield at me. Yay, smart throwing your shield. I reached up and caught it.

"Dude, are you running for president? Because this is no way to rack up votes."

He was surprised. I don't know if it was my comment or what. I threw his shield back at him. It hit him on the head, knocking him unconscious. I must of thrown it harder than he was used to because he had tried to catch it.
