"He's such an idiot!" I yelled, hands tugging at my hair.

"Nico calm down." Will soothed.

But like most of the time...I didn't listen.

"He said they were getting better. He said he was fine. He said he wasn't giving up on life!" I continued.

Will pressed his lips to mine.

"Shut up." He mumbled against my lips.

"Mhmm." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Okay lovebirds split it up." Thalia said.

"Hey, you said you don't care what we do so long as it doesn't give you an opportunity to castrate us." I stuck my tongue out at her.

"That doesn't mean anything. Isn't it your father who told Percy to make sure to have an oath on the Styx?"

"Damn you and your intuitive nature."

"Don't you mean dam?" She snickered.

What the fuck is that even supposed to mean?

"But this is Percy we're talking about here." She said deadly serious. "His fatal flaw is loyalty. Can you imagine what he's going through Nico? Yes both your sisters died. But Percy watched them die. And he blames himself for both of their deaths."

I looked down. I never should have yelled at him.

Sure I was young and angry. But I should have been able to tell that he was hurting, even before I yelled at him.

"And we both know Percy would never put us in danger. So what if it means being put through torture every night? He'll do it just to keep us safe." She finished.

I looked at her. "When did you get so smart Pinecone Face?"

She smiled sadly. "When did you get so dark?"

Oh.

"When I took over for Zoë I learned a lot of things. Like reading people. And looking deeper than the surface. Although Zoë wasn't always the best at that."

There was a knock at the door.

"I've got it." I hopped up and opened the door.

"Well why would we get it? We don't live here. Well, Will might."

I rolled my eyes and looked at the black haired guy standing outside my door. "Hey Loki? Are you okay?"

He pushed me aside and collapsed on one of the beds.

"Guess somebody was teleporting." Thalia laughed flicking his hair.

"Not the hair." He mumbled.

"Aww. Does somebody not like their hair touched?" She mocked.

"If you weren't Percy's cousin I would so turn you into a frog."

"And if you weren't completely wiped." I pointed out before pulling out a box of candy from under my bed. "Sour Patch Kids or Airhead Extremes?"

"Air Head." He turned on his side.

I tossed him a pack which he immediately opened.

"Remind me again how he ended up becoming best friends with you?"

"Well..." Thalia drawled. "Loki came down with Thor once because there was this whole big thing about trying to take over the planet and so Odin asked my dad to look after them both."

"And of course Uncle Z passed it off to Mr D. And so Percy met them first and him and Loki hit it off immediately."

"By which he means they pranked the entire Hermes cabin."

"Wait. That was them?!" Will yelled.

The Hermes cabin thought it was the Apollo cabin and as such they immediately retaliated with graffiting the entire cabin.

It was sweet.

"If I wasn't the one who would have to end up healing them I swear I would murder them both."

He probably could...cause Loki is pretty much passed out, and totally invested in his candy.

"But then we met and since he's basically Kelp Head...just you know...a bit darker...we hit it off really well."

Will nodded.

Well. Good thing he took that well.

"So um... I'm going to go yell at Percy." I stood and started towards a shadow.

And I was hit by a sandal.

"Really?!" I looked at my now one shoed boyfriend.

"No shadowtraveling. Doctor's orders."

I groaned. "I shadowtravelled like four times and I'm still here."

"What?! Nico di Angelo! I am-" I didn't catch the rest of that thought as I rushed out of my cabin and slammed the door.

Infirmary.

Why the infirmary?

I love it when Will's there.

Except when he's being a mother hen.

"I'm going to lock you in a room filled with lights!"

Uh oh.

"Nico? What's the matter?" Chiron asked, laying his cards facedown.

Mr D tried to sneak a peek but Chiron slapped his hand.

"Will. Where's Percy?" I asked glancing around.

I wouldn't be surprised if Will got one of his sisters to capture me.

"Still in the infirmary. And I'll keep Will away for a little bit."

A ghost of a smile made it's way onto my face. "Thanks Chiron."

He picked his cards back up, without acknowledging me.

Realizing what he was doing I rushed into the house and up the stairs. But not before I heard...

"That Nick kid really gives me the creeps."

At least he didn't say Nicole.

That was embarrassing.

There was one room with the door closed.

I'm guessing that's the one.

Gently I opened the door.

And saw something that made me a little bit jealous.

Percy was laying ontop of his dad, who was practically crushing him.

I may be jealous that he gets this kind of affection from his father. But to be honest...

Out of every demigod, he deserves it the most.

I walked gently over and brushed a strand of hair out of Percy's face, noticing the drool on Poseidon's shirt.

Huh. He really does drool when he sleeps.

In that moment I felt something.

Something that I've never felt before in my life.

It was like...

Something is trying to...

No.

I can't describe it.

But it all centers around Percy.

Another chapter another day.

Another day I need a nap.

I need a nap I have school

I have school I can't write

I can't write

And then I have to dodge *looks at a comment from a while ago* a magical unicorn ice sculpture
