I sighed and looked out past the barrier.

We've been here for little over a week.

And nothing has really happened.

Which is strange.

They said the Pit would attack sooner rather than later.

Catch us off guard. Cause that would be easier.

They'd have the element of surprise.

But if we were expecting them to attack sooner then they might attack later just to catch us off guard but then they might assume that we were thinking that they would attack later rather than sooner after making us wait for a week then attack sooner and catch us off guard.

I shook my head. Well, guess my shift's about-

Then the first monster showed up. Followed by another.

And another.

"We're under attack!" I yelled.

Within two minutes the conch blew.

Three times.

I ran down the hill, throwing my shield. It hit several monsters, dissolving them into dust instantly.

I was soon joined by some demigods, and with some time...

We took down the monsters.

"Stay here. We're gonna go help the others!"

And then I was alone once more.

Which wasn't very good planning.

Because it appeared the first attack was a diversion.

"Guys! A little help!" I threw the shield again, killing six monsters.

But I don't think they heard me. And I was quickly overwhelmed.

Then lightning struck next to me.

Thank you Thor.

But when I saw something gold slash through the air and through a monster, I knew something was different.

A blonde boy stood infront of me, his sword resting against his shoulder.

"Sup?" He smiled.

"Who are you?"

"Jason. Jason Grace."

I flew above a horde of monsters and shot at a few of them.

Thank you Harley for finding a way to get the repulsors to work against monsters.

It has to do with reflecting the blast against the bronze and somehow it infuses the beam with it's ability to harm monsters.

So this is fucking cool.

At least it was. Until a monster damaged my suit.

And another monster threw me.

I'm kinda reminded of when Point Break fought me.

We all know I would have beat him though.

And we all know that's a lie.

But where the hell is he anyway?

Cause having the Asgardian sounds really nice right now.

But yeah...I was a pretty good distance from the actual fighting.

And I can't get my suit off the ground.

"Dammit! Jarvis, damage assessment."

"Main thrusters inoperable. Secondary thrusters offline. Shall I try to activate them?"
