I wake up to the sound of my text tone blowing off. I groan and check the time.

8:30 am

Are you kidding me right now? I need my sleep and somebody is waking me up with probably nothing important.

From Shawn:
Heyyy Zac and I are picking you up later

From Shawn:
Wait, I just realized that I don't know your street address, could I have it?

From Shawn:
Well now you probably think I'm a creep.

He's such a dork.

From Shawn:
Um well just send it when you get this ig ahaha

I reply to Shawn texting him my address and after multiple attempts to get out of my bed I finally get up and start my day.

I take a shower, brush my teeth, put my hair in a pony, put a bit of makeup on, then I put on a white crop top and a black skater skirt with my black high top converse with a leather jacket to go over it.

I look over myself one last time before grabbing my bag (with my journal in it of course), and my phone then I head downstairs.

Just as I reach the last step my phone goes off, it's Shawn.

From Shawn:
We're here 😉

And just as I go to reply, my doorbell rings. I smile instantly knowing who it is.

"I'll get it!" I call to my mom.

I run to the door and open it to see a smiley Shawn and Zac.

"Hey Tris" they say. "Hey, come in, I want to introduce you to my mom and little sister." I say gesturing towards my living room.

They smile and come in, I shut the door behind them.

"Mom, Alana! I want you guys to meet my friends" I call.

Lana comes trailing in with mom beside of her.

Mom smiles at Shawn and Zac, "Hello! I'm Carol, Tris's mom"

"I'm Shawn Mendes" Shawn tells her.

"And I'm Zac Elliot" Zac adds and waves.

"Alright then, we are going now" I say trying to get out of this before my moms starts asking questions.

"Okay sweetie! Have fun!" She smiles. "Nice to meet you two" she waves before walking off.

I look down at Lana who has a pouty face. "What wrong Lana?" I crouch down to her level.

"You were supposed to help me get ready to see the queen" she crosses her arms.

Before I can speak someone taps my shoulder. I turn around and Shawn and Zac are both looking at me confused.

I shake my head and turn back to lana.

"I'm sorry lan, I forgot, but I promise that I'll be here for the next important event that you have to go to" I say.

She sighs and nods her head, "it's okay Trissy, have fun, I'll be here with Fred!" She says.

"Okay, love you lana" I kiss her forehead before she runs into her room.

I sigh and stand up, "She's five, she has imaginary friends" I shrug.

They nod there heads and we head out to Shawn's car. I hop in the back seat.

"So where are we going?" I ask.

"I was thinking a movie or something then going back to my place?" Shawn suggests.
