fourteen

Today is the day. The day I get to meet many of my supporters and live a dream I never thought would happen. I never would have imagined myself doing what I'm going to do today.

I quickly get changed into a maroon skater skirt with a white lace crop top and my white converse to finish the outfit off.

As for my hair, I decided to curl it and then put it in a half up-half down look.

I do my makeup and as I finish I hear a loud bang coming from downstairs.

I put my things away so I can go see what the noise was but when I walk out of my room, I run into him.

Shawn's POV

Today is the day. The day I get to meet all of my supporters and do something I thought I would never do.

I'm going to ask Tris out.

Aaron and I planned it all out and all of the guys know about it so it's no secret. Of course Matt was upset about it so he wants nothing to do with it but he doesn't know I know that he likes her.

But I do know and I have this slight suspicion that he knows I know but he's gonna help anyway.

Let me tell you the plan, today is the first show and I'm planning on singing a song I wrote, for her.

And after I sing I'm going to bring flowers on stage and do it.

Not to complicated.

I finish getting ready when I hear a loud bang coming from downstairs, I walk out of my room but then I run into her.

Tris's POV

We both fall to the ground in fits of laughter. "Shawn your such a klutz" I say as we stand up.

"Excuse me but I think your the one who bumped into me" he scoffs playfully.

"Okay, Mendes, whatever you say, RACE YOU DOWNSTAIRS" I yell and immediately get a head start running downstairs.

Shawn starts chasing after me but I get downstairs first and Shawn finally catches up.

"No fair, you cheated" he pouts.

"No, I just am faster than you. But cheer up Mendes I heard we're having muffins today" I smile.

His frown turns into a grin before I can finish the word muffins.

I swear that boy loves his muffins.

"Blueberry or chocolate chip?" He asks.

"How about both?" I ask back.

He smiles from ear to ear and I laugh as he runs into the kitchen looking for the muffins. I follow after him.

When I walk into the kitchen I see Matt taking something out of the oven; muffins.

He smiles at me and I smile back.

"Matt I didn't know you were a cook" I smirk.

"My mom taught me when I was young and I just picked up some easy recipes. Like this muffin one." He says as he takes the muffins out of the pan but every time one hits the table, Shawn stuffs it into his mouth.

"Dude your gonna choke" Matt says to him.

"They're just really good" Shawn says in a muffled voice. He's such a dork, but an adorable one.

"Alright save us some too" I say and walk over and grab the muffin out of Shawn's hand before he eats it.

I take a bite out of it and the chocolate chip goodness explodes in my mouth.
