"Tris look at this oh my gosh" Shawn say's in excitement.

I take his phone and squint my eyes to see the screen in front of me.

2 weeks ago Shawn posted his first vine.

He has grown quite a following and has posted a video of him singing everyday since.

When he first started he only had a little over four thousand followers, which is still a lot.

But then I saw his phone, he now has over ten thousand followers.

"Shawn, your videos went viral. Your trending in music" I say stunned.

I also have a little 'I told you so' tone. Considering, I knew he would go far.

"I KNOW TRIS AND ITS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" He screams, excitedly.

"No, all I did was encourage you to post a video. Your voice did the rest" I smile.

Yeah the voice of an angel. So if you haven't noticed by now, yes, I have come to like Shawn and I mean as more than just a friend.

Before I know it he engulfs me into a hug and kisses my cheek causing my cheeks to flush red.

"Should I post a vine saying thanks or something?" He questions,

I nod my head frantically.

With all of the followers he's gained, has come a lot of girls obsessing over him. And this may seem a bit jealous like, but I can't stand it.

Every time I turn around he is talking about how someone's done this for him or something. But don't get me wrong,
I'm extremely happy for him. And I want him to be happy as well.

"Okay!" He interrupts my thoughts and takes his phone and props it up at his desk.

I watch as he records and talks to the camera. He's such a natural, singing in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

I, on the other hand have terrible stage fright. I keep saying that I will get out of my comfort zone and try to sing in public, but I haven't tried. And when I do try, I get scared and chicken out.

Just the thought of people watching me and being the center of attention frightens me because if I mess up, that's it, I can't re-do it and I would have embarrassed myself in front of a tone of people.

"And I would like to thank my bestfriend, Tris for encouraging me to post my very first cover video on here" Shawn smiles while gesturing to me.

I wave to his camera and then he stops recording and uploads the video.

"We should celebrate" I blurt out.

"By doing what?" He asks. "I don't know, we could go to like the beach or something since summer is coming to an end" I sigh sadly.

"Awh no, it sucks that summer is coming to an end. That means school is starting soon" he groans.

"I like school" I shrug.

He puts his hand over his chest and raises his eyebrows, "You, l-like school?"

I nod my head, "Well dang, I would have never pictured you as a school person" he half smiles.

"People surprise you sometimes" I laugh and shrug.

You sure did surprise me.

"Yeah I guess you're right. Wait, I know what we should do!" he jumps up from his chair.
