"Lauren?" I ask taking a double take to see if it was really her.

"Tris?" She knots her eyebrows together.

I jump up and run and hug her. It's been years. Three to be exact.

She left after her dad died and her mom came home drunk every night with a new boyfriend.

She couldn't take it anymore so she left. Out of the blue. Nobody knew where to and nobody knew why. Except for me, I'm the only one she ever told about her family situation.

We were bestfriends, she lived right beside of me and we went to the same school.

"What are you doing here?" I question while sitting back on the couch.

"Well, I could ask you the same thing" she says sitting beside of Kian.

"You know Tris, babe?" Kian says and kisses Lauren on the cheek.

So they are a thing? Her first boyfriend, go Laur.

"Yeah, we grew up together, we were bestfriends until I left because you know..." her voice trailed off and Kian grabbed her hand

"So you came to California? When you left?" I ask her.

"Yes... I'm sorry for not telling you Tris. It was just to hard and I didn't want anyone to find me. Then when I came here I bumped into Kian and we started chatting and now he's my boyfriend" she smiles at him.

They are a cute couple.

"So you are a professional at bumping into people huh Kian?" I laugh.

"What do you mean?" Lauren chimes in.

"Today I was walking down the boardwalk and we bumped into each other and we recognized eachother and now I'm here" I say.

"You recognized eachother? You knew Kian was internet famous?" She asks.

She's full of questions.

"Yeah. Well technically he recognized me first-" I start but she interrupted me.

"How?"

"From Vine. I sing on there and accidentally blew up on it and I got asked to be on MAGcon. And apparently Kian has seen me on it before" I tell her.

"YOUR FAMOUS? MY BESTFRIEND IS FAMOUS I KNEW YOU WOULD BECOME A GREAT SINGER!!" She squeals.

She's still the same Lauren I've known forever.

"Thanks," I laugh. "So, now that we have mysteriously found eachother, should we go catch up?" I ask her.

"Totally! I've actually missed you so so much!" She says.

"Okay, so Starbucks?" Her eyes go wide. "YES YES YES LETS GO!" She jumps up from the couch.

"Bye guys" I wave as Lauren drags me out to my car.

I hop in the drivers side and she gets into the passenger side and we start the car.

Throughout the car drive we talked about our lives and I told her all about Shawn. I didn't mention his last name, just in case she knew him from Vine.

She's been staying with Kian and JC since she came to Cali three years ago.

She told me about how they started dating and everything.

Then we arrived at Starbucks.

"May I have a venté cotton candy frappe?" I ask the lady at the counter.

She nods her head. "Can I have the same?" Lauren asks and the lady punches something in the computer.

"$7.50" she says bluntly. Rude.
