As soon as me and Teri get to my house we decide to make homemade pizza. Ourselves. Yeah, cause that was a great idea.

After I washed the flour out of my hair and the sauce off my face, we sat in my room French braiding each others hair. Teri just kept going on and on about an anime she's been obsessed with. Something about a butler and little kid? I don't know. I'm just surprised she hasn't brought up DJ like I was afraid she would.

We turn on my TV and start looking for something to watch on Netflix. While I'm scrolling through shows Teri speaks up. "So..." She says with a smirk, "what's up with you and DJ? Huh?". Woop, there it is.

I sigh and glance over at her, then back to the TV. "Nothing." I say simply. And it's the truth. I mean, I'm pretty sure it is...

"Riiiiight" Teri says, with a smug look on her face, " sure OK. If you say so Kat. All I'm sayin is, the way he looks at you? Couldn't be any more obvious.". I roll my eyes as I finally find a show. Something called Voltron: legendary defender? Eh, why not? I click on it and I'm about to select the first episode when Teri suddenly grabs the remote away.

"Hey!" I protest while reaching for it. She keeps it out of my reach and I just give up since I'm too lazy to try anymore. The look on her face tells me she wants to hear more on the subject of me and DJ. I sigh and look at her, "OK, maybe when we were in like, third grade I had liked him, but those feelings went away after I met my older brothers friends. I mean, what girl hasn't fallen for her brothers friend before?". I try to laugh to keep the situation less awkward for me.

Didn't work.

Teri keeps staring at me with this creepy stalker smile. Then all of a sudden...

"I SHIP IT! I SHIP IT! I SHIP IT LIKE FEDEX!"

She starts jumping on my bed and flapping her arms around and just...why am I friends with her again? Then she starts playing 'Dear future Husband' by Megan Trainor and makes me stand up and dance with her. Oh, yeah. That's why.

I couldn't help laughing at her bad lip singing and even worse dance moves. Then I join in and we end up as a heap on the floor laughing at our selves and holding our sides.

Eventually we calm down and start watching Voltron, which, wasn't that bad of a show. And I'm glad our previous conversation is now over and done with. For now...

Monday rolls around and I can happily say I'm not really considered that new anymore. I mean, I've made more friends already, thanks to Teri. Without her and DJ I'd still be a lost little puppy. I'm heading towards my locker to put my books in before lunch. I'm almost there when I randomly bump into someone. I look up to apologize, "Oh, sorry I didn't see you..." I trail off when I see who I'm looking at "...there.".

The guy I ran into looks down at me. Wow. His eyes are a really pretty green, light with flecks of golden brown. He has straight blonde hair died red at the ends. His bangs almost completely cover his right eye and he's wearing a beanie. He looks like the type to have piercings every where but only has a small lip ring on. And it looks like it could be fake.

"No, it's my bad. I didn't see you there." He says, shaking me from my mini trance. His voice...it seems a bit familiar. He has a slight Australian accent. Subtle, but it's there.

Then it hits me like a train.

"Wait,Ryan?! Ryan Wallis?" I ask surprised. He seems taken aback.

"Yeah. How do you know my name?"

"It's me! Kathy! The girl you once beat up a kid for?" I laugh.

"Oh yeah! How ya doin short stuff!" He exclaims, while giving me a side hug. I start walking over to my locker with him next to me.

"Don't call me short stuff! It's not my fault everyone's tall." I complain at this old Nick name from him. Good ol Ryan Wallis. Now there's a name I hadn't heard in a while.

See, after DJ, Ryan was my second best friend. We met in fourth grade and it's a pretty funny story in my opinion. I was eating lunch alone because DJ was home sick that day. I usually ate in an area without teachers to avoid being told to socialize with others.Out of no where, these two boys in my grade walked over and smacked the sandwich out of my hand.

Don't ask why, I have no idea.

So they start messing with me. Pulling my hair, taking stuff out of my backpack. Elementary bully stuff.

One of them pushes me back and I fall on the ground, scraping my knees and my left hand. I start crying, they start laughing and then it happened. I here someone yell and look up to see a tall kid standing in front of me protectively. He's taller than the two boys and looks a lot tougher too. One of them runs off but the bigger one stays behind. Next thing I know, they're fighting.

The tall kid wins and watches as the other guy runs away crying with a bloody nose, busted lip, and slightly sprained wrist. The kid helps me up and walks me to the nurses office. While we walk I whisper, "Thanks.".

He looks down and says with a smile "No problem. Any time, mate.". We talk for a while when we're in the nurses office and I couldn't help thinking, wow. I sure have a thing of finding friends through fights and bully situations.

I found out that Ryan had lived in Australia since he was two, and he grew up in the outback with his five older brothers and two little sisters. When DJ came back to school, he was more than happy to accept the fact that I was declaring us, the three musketeers: partners in crime!

After I moved, I assumed Ryan and DJ would still remain best friends. But according to Teri, DJ hadn't hung out with anyone until I showed up. What happened with them? I wonder, as I shut my locker.

Well, only one way to find out I guess.

"Hey, wanna come sit with me and my friends?".

--------------------------(°-°)---------------------------
Hehehe. You didn't think I'd only give you one possible ship, did you? What do you think? Should I add more characters later? Or do you need some time to recover from Ryan's obvious adorableness? Well anyway.

Until next time my friends!
