The next day, Sehun called in sick to school.

His mother still hadn't come back from her trip to Incheon so it was just Sehun alone in the house. He stayed bundled under his covers and let the brisk breeze blow in through his window, ruffling his already wild hair. Could he just say like this forever? It was quiet and peaceful and there was no one to worry about but himself.

But no...

He was being selfish and immature. How could he ignore Baekhyun's plead to meet him at the café? He said he was going to explain, so why not let him?

He called you a no one, his heart reminded him, like what all the kids called you before. No one. Mess up. Joke. They all mean the same thing.

But did he do that to be mean? His brain argued back, Or to protect him?

Sehun groaned and balled his hands into fist. Truthfully, he missed Baekhyun. He missed the long talks they would have and the feeling of their hands intertwined with each other. He missed not only his boyfriend but his best friend. Best friends gave each other second chances right?

Sehun had made up his mind and prepared to roll out of bed when his phone dinged with several texts. It scared him at first, he didn't have anyone other than Baekhyun to text...But then he remembered he had been added into his boyfriend's group chat with other students.

Did you hear about Sehun and Baekkie?

8:15

Yeah, that didn't take long for Baekhyun to realize he could do better

8:15

Right? Sehun should just stay a loser like he's always been

8:16

I'm glad they broke up maybe Sehun will disappear

8:16

keke what a failure

8:16

loser

8:17

if he broke our Baekhyun's heart I'll break him

8:18

isn't he in this group chat?

Sehun shut his phone off and threw it across the room. He wasn't sure if he wanted to cry or get angry or both. He jumped out of bed threw on a sweater and flung open his room door, pounding down the stairs.

At the cafe Sehun waited, and waited...and waited. Baekhyun should have showed up two hours ago, if he wanted to talk so badly why was he not there? The small blonde haired waiter that had been keeping Sehun company, brought him yet another coffee. This time he smoothed his tiny slender fingers of his uniform and sat across from Sehun. Luhan, was scrawled across his name tag and Sehun found that somewhat fitting for the feminine looking boy.

"Is he still not here?" Luhan asked quietly.

Sehun had let the whole story spill to the other boy. He was so angry and someone was willing to listen, so now Luhan knew everything. He was easy going though, and Sehun felt comfortable enough around him. They were both High School students and Luhan was going through a similar situation with bullying at his school. Sehun's heart hurt at the thought of this fragile looking boy getting beat up.
