"This is my house..."

Sehun gestured weakly towards the small apartment complex off the street. It wasn't the worst part of Seoul to live, neither was it the best. Sehun felt embarrassed for some reason as Baekhyun looked up towards the complex. Everyone knew that Baekhyun lived in a huge house along the Han River.

"This is really homey I like it." he looked up at Baekhyun and smiled and Sehun blushed for the millionth time.

"Uh, well thank you for--"

"Sehunnie! Is that you?"

Sehun froze at the sound of his mothers voice. Before he could tell Baekhyun to run, she bounded down the stairs in her house slippers and a flowery dress, her hair tied up in a bun.

"Ne eomma..." Sehun choked out as he waited in horror as his mom ran to him and wrapped him in a huge hug. She examined all his cuts and bruises and and fussed over his hair and such, finally she seemed to realize Baekhyun was standing next to Sehun.

"Who's this?" She smiled brightly and adjusted her dress.

"Ah..." Sehun began and Baekhyun bowed deeply before he could make up some sort of excuse.

"Annyeonghaseyo Mrs. Oh," Sehun could already tell his mom was won over with his perfect smile and politeness, "My name is Byun Baekhyun."

"Oh!" Mrs. Oh exclaimed and pointed between the two boys, "Sehun isn't this--?"

Sehun gasped in horror and interrupted his mother before she could say the worst, "Eomma shouldn't we go inside?"

His mother ignored him and grabbed Baekhyun's hand, "Why don't you come inside Baekhyun-ah? I just finished dinner!" She didn't give Baekhyun a chance to reply and began dragging him towards the second floor, talking his ear off about how thankful she was he had been there to help her "poor Sehunnie" and Sehun wanted to invisible more than ever in that moment.

Baekhyun looked back and gave Sehun a huge smile and a thumbs up with his opposite hand that his mother didn't have a sturdy grip on.

"I'm really sorry about my mom," Sehun apologized later in his room while Baekhyun studied the posters on his wall. "She's a little forward and--"
"Don't apologize, she's really funny," he chuckled, "I wish my mom acted like that."

Was Sehun imagining things or did he sound sad? How was it that the rich, most attractive, model student like Baekhyun had bad parents? He probably just meant she wasn't as crazy as his own mother.

"How're your bruises?" he changed the subject and joined Sehun on the edge of the bed, "Aren't they still painful?"

Sehun tensed up, nervous to have the boy so close. "Ah...they um..."
He stuttered as Baekhyun's fingers trailed gently across his hairline examining the cut he had gotten when he fell.

"Um...?" His thumb rubbed gently at Sehun's bottom lip where it was slightly swollen and he jerked away, flustered.

"Oh sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!"

Sehun hopped of the bed and shook his head, "It didn't hurt um...."
He glanced at his digital clock and his eyes widened, "It's pretty late. Shouldn't you be--"

Baekhyun cursed and snatched up his backpack.

"Aish! Tell your mom thank you again! Don't be a stranger I'll see you at school!" And with that he was gone.

Sehun fanned at his face and relayed Baekhyuns last words in his head,

Don't be a stranger.
