HOUSE OF TUNNELS

Chapter 25

"Jamal.." Annika says. "Did you take the ox bell?"
"Jamal?" Jamal asks. "Who's Jamal?"
Elayna gasps.
"Who are you people?" He asks.
"I don't know what you're saying!" Annika says.
Annika takes the bell. "Let's go down into the tunnels and finish this!"
"Finish what?!" Jamal freaks out. "What tunnels?!"
Elayna gives Jamal a piece of paper and motions that he needs to write it down.
He writes he doesn't know where he is, who they are, or who he is.
Annika gasps. "Oh no.. Jamal. Trust us. Please, just come with us."
"I don't know who you are." Jamal takes Annika's hand. "But I know I trust you."

In the tunnels, Annika, Jamal and Elayna go to the horns.
"Jamal, when I squeeze your hand.. blow your horn, okay?" Annika instructs. "Elayna, I've already told you the tune, do you have it memorized?"
Elayna nods.
"Let's do this." Annika states.
They play the tune perfectly.
Annika rings the ox bell and the wall slides open, revealing more tunnels and leading to the next task.
"We did it!" Annika cheers.
"It's about time.." Elayna groans.
"Elayna! You can speak!" Annika gasps.
"Yay!" Elayna cheers.
"And I can hear!" Annika smiles.
"And I remember everything!" Jamal smiles. "I remember everything.. Oh no.. Sami!"
Jamal runs out.
Annika rolls her eyes.

Annika and Elayna go upstairs to see Grace screaming and running away in terror.
Danya and Tyler come down the stairs, back to normal.
"I've never been happier to see my own reflection in my life!" Danya sighs.
Everyone hugs and laughs.
"Why'd Grace run away screaming?" Annika asks.
"She saw us transforming back to normal and ran away screaming." Tyler laughs.
"Yikes.." Elayna says.
They all laugh.

Jamal runs into Sami's room.
"Sami!"
"You finally stopped pretending you didn't know who I was, did you?" Sami rolls her eyes.
"I'm sorry!" Jamal says. "I was diagnosed with short term amnesia after hitting my head really hard! Please forgive me." He grabs Sami's hand. "I could never forget you, Sami.."
Sami blushes. "Fine, I forgive you. Just don't do it again!"
Jamal and Sami hug.

The next day at school, Sibuna talks.
"I actually missed school." Tyler says.
"I'm gonna go to the library and return the ox bell." Elayna suggests. "Bye!"
Elayna runs out.
Mr. Sweet approaches the others. "We need you 4 and Elayna to gather for a bag search ordered by Vera, she says you have the ox bell."
"Elayna just left.." Danya says.
"I'll go get her!" Mr. Sweet runs out.

Mr. Sweet runs outside and stops Elayna.
"Come inside please." He says.
"Why?" She asks.
"Bag search."
"For what? I-"
"Come!" Mr. Sweet pulls her inside.
Victor and Vera search everyone's bags until they reach Elayna's bag.
Vera searches it and gasps.
The Sibunas close their eyes.
