Dear Emily,
I don't know why, but my plan isn't working. I'm trying so hard to just blend in and be that kid that no one ever talks to, but it's not working. No one has been mean to me or anything. They're all nice. I wish they were mean. It would be a lot easier to ignore them, then.
But how do you turn down someone that is one hundred percent nice to you when they don't have to be? How do you do that?
