Dear Emily,
I keep thinking about your funeral.
It was beautiful, really. I'm sure you would have liked it. You looked beautiful and peaceful. I know it wasn't what you wanted, though. You wanted to be cremated. You wanted your ashes to be dumped in the ocean. I guess I'm the only one who knew.
Everyone said nice things about you. Your cousin talked. So did your dad. I don't think your mother could if she wanted to. She was crying. She cried a lot. I didn't cry. I didn't feel anything.
Does that make me a bad person?
- Delilah.
