Tears

Niel (Teen Top)

After the big meeting, I waundered around. Nothing seemed to catch my interest. I eventually found a beach and sat down, it seemed as empty as I felt. Ever since that day, I hadn't felt much at all; just pain and numbness. I had named the day Nikki left as that day. Tears slipped down my cheeks as I remembered what had happened. I had never even begun to forget the pain that I had felt. After I had seen her kissing some guy, I had run out of the archade. I just ran and ran, kind of like how I ran when I had fangirls chasing after me. When I came to a stop, I was at a park with no idea how I had gotten there. I fell onto a bench and just sat there numbly. I couldn't believe she had done that. I thought Nikki had loved me, but I guessed I was wrong. I had spent the week after that at some motel. I didn't care to get up and shower or eat. I could barely bring mself to move. I couldn't fathom why she had wanted to do that to me. I thought I had been so good to her, but Nikki didn't want me. I wiped the tears off my face and looked around me. I could tell it was getting close to the bonfire time. I knew they wanted all of us to go to the stpuid thing, but I didn't want to. I'd hide out in the woods if I had to.

I turned to get up and bumped into someone. For a moment, all I saw was blonde hair. As we came to our senses, we just stared at each other. I took in her blonde hair and brown eyes. A moment later she turned and look around like she was trying to find something. I saw it then, laying on my lap. A panda toy. Was this child's toy hers? She must have seen it beucase she was staring at it like she wanted it.

"This yours?" I asked her.

She nodded. "Yes."

"I'm Niel. What's your name?"

"Rayne."

I handed the toy to her. "Why do you have this thing?"

"This thing?"

"It's a child's toy and you have it. You should get rid of it."

She glared at me as her eyes filled with tears. Rayne grabbed the toy from me and ran off. What did I say? I just told her the truth. A heartbeat later, a guy came up to me.

"What the hell did you say to her?" He demanded.

"Say what to who?"

"What do you say to Rayne?"

"I told her to ditch the toy. It's a child's toy and she shouldn't have it."

The guy looked at me with rage in his eyes. That was right before he punched me. I just laid there and stared up at him.

"That was the last thing her mom gave her before she passed away. It's the only thing she has left of her mom. Way to go. You made her cry," he spat before walking away.

Last thing her mom gave her? Wow, I made myself look like an idiot. I got up and tried walking a few steps but couldn't manage it and fell down after a few steps. I just stared down at my hands and started to cry again. I don't know how long I sat there before I heard someone come up to me. I couldn't glance up, fearing it was Rayne. A familiar hand lifted my head up. I saw L.Joe kneeling next to me. He kindly wiped my tears away. L.Joe was always there for me and really kind. And he somehow always knew the right moment to show up. Just when I needed him the most every time.

"Don't cry," he whispered.

"I can't help it."

"Why are you crying now?"

I looked away. "I made Rayne cry."

"Rayne? I've heard of her. Kris told me about her."

"Kris? So that might have been him."

"Might have been him? What are you talking about?"

"I made Rayne cry and she ran, then a guy came up and demanded to know why I had made Rayne cry. He got really mad, punched me and left."

L.Joe looked somewhere in between mad and shocked. "I don't like that fact that he hit you, but you must have done something big to make him that made. Kris doesn't get mad like that easily."

"Not mad easily?"

L.Joe nodded and took a deep breath. "Come on. Let's go to the bonfire."

"Isn't it early?"

"Teen Top is having a meeting before the bonfire today."

"Okay," I answered.

He helped me up, dusted me off, and took my hand as he lead me to the bonfire.

Aaron (Midnight)

I was walking around in what time was left before the bonfire. It was our second day here, and I hadn't really had a chance to explore it just yet. There were too many group issues I had to go over with manager hyung. I was passing the cabins when I heard crying. Who would be crying here? This place was amazing. I looked around and found out it was Rayne. I rushed to her and took her in my arms. Her crying slowly stopped and she just sat there.

"Why are you crying?" I kindly asked her.

She was silent for a moment. "I don't know his name."

"Describe him."

"Shoulder length hair and full lips."

I knew who it was right away. Niel from Teen Top. I had met them after we had got to the camp group when I had spent a bit of time with CAP, their leader. Niel had seemed so innocent, quiet but innocent. How could Niel do this to her?

"What happened?"

"He told me I should throw away my panada. The one thing I have left from my mom. He said it was a child's toy and I shouldn't have it."

I looked at her and saw more tears threatening to fall. I held her tight as she started crying again. I would have to have a stern talk with Niel later. I wouldn't allow him to do this to any of my group members. This made me mad, it really did. I heard footsteps coming up to us and I instinctively wrapped Rayne tighter in my arms. I looked up to see a guy standing there, thankfully not Niel. Who was this guy? He knelt down to Rayne, but I held her back from him. What did he want with her?

"I'm not gonna hurt her if that's what you're thinking," he said in a soft voice.

Rayne turned her head at the sound. "Tao?"

She instantly pulled away from me and jumped to him. It shocked me. She was usually dependent on group members, usually Lynn. Rayne jumping to Tao surprised me. But he softly wrapped his arms around her. She snuggled against him, obviously taking comfort in him being there. I wondered what was happening to one of our precious maknaes. Lynn and Rayne were both maknaes, but Rayne more than Lynn. It was like Rayne was the child of the group. As I pondered this, my mind wondered how Lynn would take the new of Rayne being like this with Tao. Lynn and Rayne were so close, we all knew it. They did everything together. Would Tao be the one to bring them apart? If he was, I would hate to be him.
