Tao (Exo)
I couldn't have been better as I had Rayne in my arms; it was like I had been waiting for that moment. I wasn't sure at all if she felt the same, but I wished she did. Her at the moment comment caught my attention, but she said it was due to food being on her mind. I kindly waited as she finished cutting the fruit. I wasn't sure why but I went and stood behind her and wrapped her in my arms again. I just wanted to hold her there and never let her go. I had known her a grand total of about four days.
"Food's ready," I heard Rayne say. It drew me to the present.
She had turned her head to look back at me. It made my heart beat a bit faster and I hoped she couldn't hear it. Without thinking, I put a hand on her cheek and tilted her head up. A moment later, I was kissing her. I knew it may have been wrong but I couldn't stop myself. Having Rayne like this in my arms made my heart almost freeze. At that moment, I had never felt better. It was like I needed her. After a couple of minutes, she pulled back and wiggled out of my arms.
"I'm sorry," she told me before running off.
All I could do was watch her go. I didn't know what to do. I knew I loved her already and she left. I knew I had messed up. I shouldn't have kissed her. I sunk to the floor and sat back against the counter. My head fell into my hands as I thought over that bit of time we had spent together. It had felt so natural to me. But apparently, it hadn't felt that way to her. My mind was filled with the way I had seen her smile and laugh. We had been having so much fun, why did I have to go and mess it up? I always messed up the good things. That's why I was the one of Exo that wasn't good with girls. I just always screwed it up. I was wallowing in all of this when the kitchen door opened and I didn't bother to get up. I only listened as the footsteps drew closer to me as if they knew where I was. I was shocked when I felt a hand tilting my face up and when something warm pressing against my lips. Just from the feels, I knew it was Rayne. My arms encircled her as I realized that she had come back. Rayne, the girl I loved, the girl that had my heart, had come back to me. I don't know how long we were like that when we finally stopped. And Rayne didn't leave this time. She just sat there, curled against me and in my arms.
"Sorry I ran off. I was just so confused. Honestly, it really shocked me," Rayne quietly said.
"Shocked you?"
"Wanna know why I was shocked?"
"Yeah."
"Well...um...you were my bias."
Her bias? That even shocked me. "Really?"
"Yeah."
"Rayne! Hey Rayne, where are you!" We heard a voice yell.
We instantly stood up and separated. Thankfully just in time. About a minute after we separated, L.Joe raced into the kitchen. He had to stop a moment to catch his breath.
"Thank goodness I found you. Niel's been looking for you for a while now. He said he'd be waiting in your guys' spot for ya," L.Joe told her once he could talk.
"How long ago did he tell you that?" Rayne asked.
"Not a clue. A while I guess. Go," L.Joe answered.
With that Rayne took off. Going to meet Niel like she always did.
Rayne (Midnight)
I ran to the spot where I had been meeting Niel. It was a pretty well-hidden place considering the fact it was in a spot between big rocks and trees. While I ran to him, my mind was going over what he could possibly tell me. It took me about ten minutes of almost non-stop running to reach Niel. When I did, I almost collapsed in his arms. Man, I had to hit the track more.
