D.O. (Exo)
I sighed and set down my knife. I was cooking like I ususally did in the kitchen. It was my comfort zone and I needed to clear my mind. I was working on cooking a bit of kimchi when Tao silently came into the kitchen. I could tell something wasn't right. Tao wasn't usually as mopey as he was.
"Hey tell me what's up with you," I said.
He glanced up at me and leaned against a counter. "Rayne left."
"Ah. But why so mopey over it? I mean I know ya like her and all, but still."
"She got a call from Niel saying he needed her and she left."
Now I get it. Tao was sad due to the fact Niel had called for Rayne and she had went to him. I somehow had to make Tao see that it wasn't going to work out with her. I just knew it wasn't. I could see it clear as day when I saw the way Rayne and Niel were. I was just waiting for something to happen between those two. Come on it was only a matter of time.
"They're close so of course she went to help him out," I told him.
"Still. She didn't even say goodbye."
"She couldn't find you. Rayne was in a bit of a rush but she had wanted to say good bye to you Tao." It was true. Rayne had popped her head in the kitchen looking for Tao yesterday before she left. I had been the unlucky one to tell Tao everything she had told me. I thought that boy would cry or something but he had just gotten up and silently walked away.
It was silent now between us as I finished cooking the kimchi. I quickly put it in a bowl and handed it to Tao. Grateful, he took it and begant to devour it. I could tell he needed something to eat. He probably hadn't eaten since I had told him that Rayne had left. Once he was done, Tao set the bowl in the sink and left me alone in the kitchen. I was going to have to figure out something to pick that boy up. I never liked seeing any Exo member sad and mopey like he was now. I thought about what had happened in the past four days as I washed the dishes I had used. It was so much in so little time. I wondered what would happen if Rayne didn't return Tao's feelings and chose Niel within the next week. When I had finished the dishes I left the kitchen and stepped out into the mid afternoon sun. I turned my eyes to the sky. It looked like it may rain within the next few days. Maybe by the time night rolled around.
"Hey D.O," I heard a familiar female voice call out.
"Oh hiya Lynn."
"How's Tao?"
"Sad and mopey."
"You heard what happened between them right?"
I nodded. Who in Exo hadn't heard. I think the only people that didn't know where from Teen Top and BigBang. "Yeah I heard."
"Then what happens if she ends up with Niel?"
"That's what I've thought of too. Just haven't said a word about it to Tao."
"It's gonna crush him you know that right?"
"Yep. She's one of the few girls Tao has had an interest in. I don't know how bad it's gonna be, but I know it's coming."
"Honestly I think Niel is better for Rayne. He's more like her and broken too. They're gonna help each other heal and I think something great will stem from that."
"I can see what you mean by that."
"It's just a matter of time until it all blows up."
"But for now we don't say a word. Not a word."
"Agreed D.O. You know he may hate us when it happens."
"I hadn't thought of that."
"Life may be hard for a bit after everything goes done."
