Rayne (Midnight)

We posed for probably the hundredth or so photo. Ugh. This is why I came to hate photoshoots; it was just hours upon hours of endless flashes and changing clothes. Who liked these anyway? I couldn't think of anyone. Oh, yes, I forgot to tell how we got here. Well, why we were at the photoshoot. We, Lynn and I, were part of the new kpop (Korean pop) group Midnight. Yeah, we weren't too genius when coming up with our name. We figured there was a 2pm and a 2am, so why not have a midnight. Anyway, Midnight, including Lynn and I, had eight people; four boys and four girls. I had no idea who thought of this combination (having boys and girls in one group). Though, despite how confused I was with it, the whole mixed thing seemed to work for us. We were already selling well and people were almost demanding we do a concert already.

"Okay girls, this shoot is over," the photographer called to us.

"Finally," I heard Lynn mutter. Ha. This proved she was my twin. We almost always thought the same thing. "Come on, let's go Rayne."

We got up from our last pose and headed for our dressing room. As soon as the door was closed, Lynn peeled off her top and I soon followed. We dearly wanted to be out of the almost skin-tight clothes. Okay, maybe it wasn't the fact they were skin tight, as it was they were brightly colored. Both Lynn and I had a more gothic style. We dressed more in black, white, and grey then color. And, yes, we loved to dress identically so no one could tell us apart. Even our group mates got confused a lot. When someone got confused, Lynn and I would always laugh with each other.

"These next few weeks are gonna be hard ya know," I heard Lynn comment to me.

"Yes they are," I agreed.

Over the next few weeks, our group of eight was going to split into two groups of four to do promotional things. We were both gonna travel to different countries, America being our last. We were excited to at least be able to see each other and go home after all the promo stuff. Yeah, Midnight was a group from America that was doing shockingly well on the Korean charts. We were almost up there with Exo and they had been out a year longer than us.

"What are we gonna do?" Lynn asked, plopping down in a chair.

I shook my head. "Not a clue."

Lynn and I were beyond excited to travel the world and whatnot, but, the thing was, we had never been separated. Even at school back in America, we had all the same classes every year. And now, we would be apart for about a month, almost two months.

"At least we get to go home when it's done," Lynn said.

"Yeah. I miss dad."

Let me explain a little more about us. When we were eight, we lost our mom. She was flying from America to London and the plane went down. It was due to a malfunction of some sort. But, after our mom passed, our dad was left to take care of us. At first it was hard. None of us knew what to do. It was even hard for Lynn and I to go back to school. But our dad and us pushed through together and as a result, we were a pretty close family. We almost never fought, well, Lynn and I had our share of fights, but what pair of twins doesn't? I smiled as I couldn't wait to see my dad. It had been close to half a year since we had left America and since we had last seen him. Though we skyped sometimes, it just wasn't the same as seeing him in person. I couldn't wait for the day when I could run up to him and give him a big hug.
