I stood in the control room before anyone else awoke. It was early, much too early for being awake. I picked up signals from Earth, many signals. I picked up an english one and listened. "Do you come in peace, who are you,..." They were asking questions. What makes them think that I know there language. I guess it's a good thing I do.

"We come in peace. May I ask your name?" I asked the person giving the message. There wasn't any response. I waited. They must all be a bit scared.

"I am a c-college student from S-stanford university... I am part of the AV or Audio and Video club. My name is Mark." He said in a skittish voice. I heard other mumbling voices around him. I smiled. Good, he isn't part of the government.

"Hello Mark. I am Novaia. We are here to defend Earth and all its inhabitants. It's nice to meet you. We will need a place to land." I said over the speaker. A few moments past.

"Nice... to meet y-you as well" He said over the com. "Listen, I don't think we're really qualified to be speaking to an alien life form..." He said in a small voice.

"Well... Would you feel better if I told you most of my crew were Human? I'm Altaian and half Galra, my Altaian race went nearly extinct years ago." I explained. I heard a few panicked voices in the background. Did I say something wrong. Then, I heard a voice that seemed to sound like someone of authority, and he was not happy.

"Okay, okay. Who is giving this message. I know these kids are just trying to play a prank on me."

"Excuse me, this is no joke. I am in the ship orbiting your planet. My name is Novaia and I am piloting the ship above you. I need a place to land." I said. There was a long pause. I heard steps behind me, they were slow steps as if they were trying to creep up on me. I didn't turn to see who it was, I was waiting to hear a response. Before suddenly I was taken into the arms of someone, instantly I noticed the red jacket. I smiled and turned to face Keith, I'm glad he got over his little temper tantrum.

"Good Morning, what are you doing up so early." Keith asked me in a soft tone. Then the message came through to the com.

"If you are who you say you are, you can land in the field near the school. I expect you to have shuttles?" The voice said questioningly, Keith's head was resting on my shoulder now.

"We will be there in a few ticks." I called over the com. I turned off the system and Keith spun me around to face him. He smiled.

"A few ticks is all I get?" Keith said a bit annoyed.

"I don't know what your talking about, yesterday you said all I brought was trouble." I told him. His smile faded and he reached up behind his head nervously.

"I'm sorry... I'm known to be a bit rude at times. I was just concerned for you." He tried to explain. I reached up and placed my hand against his cheek.

"Yeah... I get that Keith. You're adorable when you worry by the way." I pulled away from him and walked towards the hangars. I listened to Keith's footsteps behind me as I walked towards the hangar. I reached up and flicked on a few of the controls. Just then I heard a few more feet on the cold floor.

"Where are you going?" Asked the familiar voice o Xander. I had almost forgot what happened the day before. Keith doesn't know... Unless Xander told him. I don't think he did thoug.

"Were going down to a collage, there are some people there that want to meet us. Wanna come Xander?" Keith asked the purple haired guy standing next to him now. He shrugged and smiled.

"Sounds like fun. People will freak when they see an alien like me." He said, he gave no hint whatsoever that he had an attraction towards me, he hid it so we... I was angry with him... I don't know why, he said sorry about what he did. He didn't seem sorry. "Should we let the others know, I have a feeling Lance would be pretty upset if we went to Earth without him..." Xander posed a good question. I shook my head no.
