I took Harry to Big Belly Burger, and we sat at a table. We ordered some burgers and talked about nothing special.
"So... why do your friends looked surprised when you told them that I knew about your "powers"?" Harry asked out of the blue.
"Well... you know about Jay, right? He is a friend of mine but he doesn't know yet... and I think they thought that I have more trust to Jay, but I guess they were wrong." I said. Harry looked confused as hell. I mean, who wouldn't? I trust more someone who is supposedly dangerous than someone that is supposedly the bad guy.
"Oh... That's... a little bit confusing..." He said.
"Can I tell you something?"
"Sure."
"I love you all, but some people just don't seem to get it. Well, except Zoom. That guy is a fucking bastard. And, on my Earth, your actors — for example, yours is Tom Cavanagh — are lovely people who I didn't even get the pleasure to meet, but now, I'm standing in front of his character — who I have to say, it's amazing."
"Thanks." We made a pause of silence until Harry broke it. "You know? Now that I think about it, I have another question."
"Shoot." I said. What could his question be?
"You know who is Zoom, right?" I nodded. To be honest, I really didn't like where this was going. "Why don't you just take him down by surprise?"
"I already told you; the timeline."
"Screw the timeline!" That comment had taken me off guard. He stood from his seat and pointed a finger at me. "You could save my daughter! Why don't you do something about it!" We had gained the attention of some of the costumers.
"I can't! Why does everybody thinks that I can do everything?!" I was now standing and moving my hands in exasperation. "That's why I am tired of this Earth!" I had started to shout, and almost everybody on the store — who were just like five guys — were now staring at us. "I just want to go home..." I said. I really didn't understand why everybody thought that I should fix everything. I just... couldn't. I wasn't able to. I was just... normal. Even Cisco had powers.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't even be here..." And with that, I stood up and left, leaving a very guilty Harry behind.
---------------------------------------
I went to my house, and stayed there watching Netflix until there was no more light. Then I remembered something. I left my phone in STAR Labs.
I left it there because I contacted Jay. This wasn't going to end well...
---------------------------------------
I went running. Well, most of it.
When I entered to the Cortex, everything was fine, but then I decided to go find someone because my phone wasn't there.
I stayed like 15 minutes searching for someone until I passed the speed cannon room, where Jay and Harry were shouting. Caitlin should listen to me more often.
All the team was with them, and like it seemed they needed help, I came to the rescue.
"That's enough!" I shouted, letting my arms fall to my side. I closed my eyes, but when I opened them, I saw everyone move in slow motion, but then I rubbed my eyes and everything was back to normal. I guess it was just an illusion...
"Amy!" Cisco said.
"I know you two don't get along well, but maybe you could at least try! I am really not in the mood to solve problems." I said. I turned to Cait. "You all should listen to me more often. Really guys. I just came for my phone and like it wasn't where I remember I left it, I came to look for someone. But the only thing that I find is you two fighting." I finished and Harry and Jay just turned one second to look at one another and the Barry said something.
"I, uh, got your phone." He said while moving closer to where I stood.
"Thanks." I said, giving him a sweet smile.
"Well, I'm out. See you tomorrow, guys."
"Wait!" I heard Harry yell and when I looked behind me, he was running to me.
"What do you want, Harry? I don't want to-" He hugged me.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I was just desperate. I just want my daughter back. Please, Amy, forgive me..."
"You know? You sound a little bit like Starscream.." I said and he just broke the hug to look at me confused.
"Yes! Like in 'Please forgive me, lord Megatron'" I said, mimicking Starscream and he just looked lost and confused.
"Have you never seen Transformers?!" He just moved his head no.
"I gotta show you sometime. And yes, I forgive you, Harry." He smiled.
"I'm going to look forward to it, Amy."
We hugged one more time.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
---------------------------------------
Harry reminded me of movies. Old movies and series from old fandoms I was in. I just really hoped them to be in this Earth's Netflix.
"Um... Let's see..." I said while scrolling down.
"I don't suppose they have nothing of Marvel here, so let's just hope to find something Sebby is on... Got it! The Covenant. Yes!"
You see, I was a Marvel and DC fan, and my crushes were Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin. Well, now is Barry Allen and Oliver Queen, right? I didn't expect to be any movies of Marvel on the DC Universe, but well, I could at least try with other movies so...
---------------------------------------
I was halfway through the movie when I heard noises in my bedroom. I had to check it, right? I was so stupid for checking it, really.
Anyways, stupid me went to check, and when I entered to the room, everything was fine. I went further, to check the bathroom and nothing was there.
"Umm... I guess it was just my imagination." And I turned to leave, but something grabbed my arms and pinned me to the wall.
"I heard you can see the future, right love?"
It was Jay.
Fuck.
