Okay, The Flash day.
I was there, obviously. Don't you remember Cisco and Joe were there? Well, as I'm a part of the task force, I got to be there. Yay.
I had a Flash t-shirt and some shorts. I matched them with the shoes that I had when I ended up here. They were part Zoom and part Barry. Don't judge me; the second season is my favorite one. I know, it's weird for a cop not to have their uniform, but it was a strategy. Besides, I never wore a complete uniform and everyone was okay with it.
I asked Joe and Cisco to please let me go to the event and not stay with them 'cause it was sort of boring. They said yes and I told them I'll be there when needed. I was not going to enjoy it, at all. I just wanted to see Barry.
"Good morning, Central City! A year ago, our word changed. Our city became ground zero for some pretty weird stuff." I moved to stand next to Iris.
"Hey, Amy! Didn't thought you would make it,"
"Barry is my friend. I couldn't miss this opportunity. Besides, I know pretty much everything in this world 'cause I love it! Don't you think I wouldn't miss this just for that fact?"
"Of course not!"
We laughed. You know what? I completely forgot that Jay was behind us. Great job, Amy!
"But we got something else, too. We got the Flash!" The mayor, I think, said. Everyone cheered.
"Our wounds run deep, and I know many of you are afraid of what threats tomorrow." Who wouldn't? Zoom is a living nightmare. "But the Flash doesn't just protect us, he restores hope where it was lost. That's why I'm honored to present the key to the man who saved Central City: The Flash!" We all cheered and started chanting "Flash".
"Oh, man. I gotta go, Iris. See you later!" I said as I ran to where Joe and Cisco were.
"Hey, guys!" I said once I got there.
"Hey. I thought you were enjoying that." Joe said.
"I was. But I had to come back." I said.
"If you say so..."
I looked at Barry's direction and I saw he was looking for someone. He turned to our direction and smiled in relief. I guess he was looking for me. I just gave him thumbs up.
"Look out!" Joe shouted.
When I turned, I saw that ice cream truck coming straight at Barry. Well, this lasted more than I expected.
He turned to us. "I got this, all right?"
"Haha, no. I'm helping."
"No, Amy-" He didn't finish.
"The man who saved Central City, hate to rain on your pared," Al, I think said. Son of a-
He threw Barry, and Joe and I started to shoot.
Cisco was having his vibe.
"Cisco! Stop with the vibe! Not now, please!" I said and he returned.
"Cisco! Cisco! The Boot!"
"Right!" He went for it. "Locked and loaded"
"No! Don't shoot-" He shot it. "It. You're only gonna make him stronger and taller and scarier! Joe!" I said
"Upps..."
"Cisco, you said this think would take him down. He's not going down."
"He went up."
