Best friends (Liam)

Not a request, I thought I'd try and treat ya my lil penguins *mwah mwah*

I let out a low growl as I woke up from one of the best dreams I've ever had. (What's the best dream you've ever had? Tell me in the comments, details! I want details unless it was a wet dream;-)) Looking up at the clock, it read 9am. FUCK!

I jumped out of bed and quickly got ready, by the time I got our the door it was 9:15. I looked down at my phone for the first time this morning and saw I had five new messages from Liam.

Oh I am so thankful to have a best friend. I got into my car and checked that I had everything I needed, since I now had the time and then quickly and carefully sped my way to school.

*fifteen minutes later*

I ran through the halls with a past doctors note in hand and finally burst into my chem class. "Note, Miss (Y/L/N)?" I walked over to my teacher and handed him the note before making my way over to Liam and sitting down next to him.

"It's about time you got here" I smiled at the sad undertone in Liam's voice, "I'm really sorry, thanks for covering for me" I whispered as the teacher continued to teach the lesson though none of the students were really listening to him drabble on and on.

*skip to lacrosse practice*

A free period, thank god. And just when Liam has Lacrosse practice. I made my way outside, quickly finding a seat on one of the benches further forward.

I quickly spotted Liam and apparently he sported me as he waved at me, I waved back before Coach yelled at him. "Dunbar! Concentration! Wave to your girlfriend on your own time!"

I laughed to myself as I saw Liam's lips move in reply and Coach waved him off.

"Hey there beautiful" I looked to my left to see some guy who looked like Tom Holland sitting next to me. "Don't bother" I said immediately, "What? I can't hit on a beautiful girl?" The guy said.

"I'm Todd" I laughed, "I'm not interested" I replied, "Awh come on now baby, you don't gave to be like that" Todd put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me into him.

"Get off of me!" I said, trying to shove him off, but he wouldn't budge, "Get off!" I tried again. "Hey, didn't you hear her? She said 'get off'!" Liam's voice sounded.

"Oh yeah? What you gonna do, Dunbar?" Todd taunted, standing up as he let me go, "Oh me? Nothing, (Y/N) however, well. That's a different story"

Todd looked back at me confused until I punched him right in the nose, when he was hunched over and holding his nose, I grabbed his shoulders, pulling him down further as I kneed his groin.

"Well, looks like someone messed with (Y/L/N) again" I heard Coach say as I threw Todd down the rest of the benches.

"Next time I say 'get off', you better get off" I yelled down at Todd as Liam walked up to me and hi-fived me.

"Thank you" I smiled at him, "For what?" He asked, confused. "For everything"

"What are best friends for?" He laughed as he enveloped me in a big hug.

Okie, uhhh nothing really to say tbh except god damn I hope I can make a career out of this....
