Halloween was yesterday! (Scott)

It's a long running joke that I'm terrible at dates - I even nearly missed Christmas a couple years back. But without my friends to help me at times of festive stress, I would miss out on excited faces and present wrapping and unwrapping get-together's.

I woke up this morning - November 1st - with a huge smile on my face, Halloween is soon! My second favourite holiday! My smile soon disappeared when I stepped into school and didn't see any Halloween decorations.

What is going on? I thought to myself as I made my way to my locker. Scott would have told me if I'd missed Halloween, right?

I brushed it out of my mind and decided I would worry about it later, right now I have a lesson to get to.

I walked into the one lesson I don't have with any of the pack - Maths. First period. Great.

I sat at my desk at the back and waited for everyone else to sit down while the teacher called out the register. I almost fell asleep before the lesson even started when I felt my phone vibrate on my lap.

I picked it up and pressed the power button to light up the screen, a text from Scott?

"Don't forget we're going costume shopping later for Lydia's party tomorrow night!"

So I haven't missed Halloween!

*Time skip to lunch*

I ran out of Chemistry a second before the bell rang for lunch, my empty stomach being more important to me than the last two seconds of the teacher telling us our left over work is due in as homework by Monday.

I ran to stuff my books into my locker and quickly made my way to the cafeteria, following in behind a small crowd most of whom drifted off to tables with packed lunches.

I grabbed whatever looked good from the displays in front of the dinner ladies (which turned out to be pizza and an apple with a bottle of water) and quickly paid before making my way over to a table.

I had a sip of my water when I felt someone slip into the seat beside me, I turned, slightly alarmed to see Scott smiling widely at me. He kissed my cheek before he started his own food and looked up to speak to Stiles who had just scooted in opposite us.

"So, are you as excited for Halloween as I am?" I asked Scott with a huge smile when Stiles started talking to Lydia. Scott frowned at me, his eyebrows coming down in confusion. "H- Halloween?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Babe, Halloween was yesterday!" Scott informed me.

"What?" I asked, my heart breaking slightly, I thought I was getting better.

"Oh no, no, you're doing really well with dates! Don't worry about it. You were only two days off! You're doing so well. Remember Lydia's party is tomorrow night, the Halloween excitement isn't over!" He tried to reassure me. I smiled slightly.

Leaning my head on his shoulder, I pressed a kiss to his cheek before I whispered a thank you. He wrapped his arm around me in return and we started talking to Lydia and Stiles about possible Halloween party outfits.

With friends like these, how could I be sad?

So uh. I didn't post anything on Halloween? But I carved pumpkins with my friend. That was fun.

Did you guys dress up? Tell me what you dressed up as! Any parties? What did you do to celebrate Halloween?

Sorry this is so short guys, I just wanted to get at least a little something out for Halloween. CHRISTMAS REQUESTS WILL BE OPEN SOON, HOLY SHIT CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW FAST THIS YEAR HAS GONE BY?!
