Just Right (JuliannaxScott) Pt 3

Two weeks since Scott and I were locked in a classroom together, things seem to be going alright. I haven't spoken to Theo that much out of class and a couple of texts about homework - he doesn't seem to mind, he seems.. almost happy I'm trying again with Scott.

"Hey Jul," I was pulled out of my thoughts by Scott's voice as he stopped at my locker, I shook my head slightly, trying to clear my head completely before turning to him. "Scotty" I smiled at him as I put away my English textbook to swap it for my History textbook.

When he didn't speak after ten seconds or so I looked back over at him, he was still looking at me? "Scott?" I asked him quietly in case he was listening to somebody. "Sorry, just got lost in your beauty" he smirked at me, I rolled my eyes playfully, "Nice try, but it's not gonna get you anything except a reminder that we're going to be late for class!"

I shut and locked my locker before turning and grabbed Scott's hand, pulling him in the direction of our History class. "I forgot my pen - have you got a spare one?" Scott asked as he followed me to my seat, I shook my head as I pulled two pens out of my pocket. "Here," I handed him a blue pen. He smiled and kissed my cheek before going over to sit next to Stiles towards the front of the class.

"Hey Julianna," I looked to my right to see Theo sat at the desk, "Hey" I smiled politely at him, silently wondering where Lily was. "OK class! Today we will be-" the substitute teacher's voice sounded muffled to me as I looked over at Scott to see his head turned towards us.

"Scott, it's okay" I whispered underneath my breath, he almost imperceptibly nodded his head before turning back to the front when the teacher called on him. I tried to pay attention through the rest of the lesson, though at times my attention wavered as out of the corner of my eye I saw Scott every once in a while turn towards the back of the room, almost as if he was checking on myself and Theo.

At the end of the lesson I had to stop myself from jumping for joy as I got up out of my seat, picking up my books and pens as I scooted out the door before anyone else and made a bee-line for the toilets.

Once I made my way out after a quick check-up in the mirror I was stopped by Theo waiting practically outside the toilet door. "Julianna," he smiled widely at me. I smiled uneasily, "Theo" I replied, enthusiasm lacing my voice though my brain told me to leave I stayed talking to him.

"How are you? We haven't really spoken for a while now" I nodded, "I'm good, thank you. Sorry it's been a little while, school work, y'know and I'm still working stuff out with Scott and I'm not jumping for an opportunity for him to get the wrong end of the stick again." Theo nodded in understanding.

*Scott's PoV*

"Why is he talking to her?" I asked nobody in particular as I watched Theo and Jul talk outside the toilets down the hall from my locker. "Why is she talking to him?" I asked again, this time getting a response.

"They're friends, Scott!" Lydia yelled, I nodded my head, "Friends, yeah" I reminded myself. I looked back over at them to see Jul looking over at me. I smiled at her and she smiled widely back, I decided I could go over there and not seem jealous or like I was trying to get rid of him.

"Hey Jul, Theo" I nodded at him as I slipped a hesitant arm around Julianna, when she didn't step away and put her hand on top of mine I relaxed into her side, my grip tightening on her hip as I held her against me.

"Scott! How are things between you two now? No hard feelings I hope" I shook my head, "No."

"Oh, Lydia! Sorry, I'll be back in a minute!" Julianna kissed my cheek before she hurried off to the other side of the corridor where Lydia was now stopped and talking to her.

*Julianna's PoV*

"Lydia! Sorry, I'll be back in a minute!" I stood on my tip-toes to kiss Scott's cheek before I rushed over to catch Lydia before she disappeared. "Jul!" She smiled happily as she wrapped me in a quick hug.

"What's up?" she asked me, I shook my head as I answered, "Nothing, I just wanted to check that we were still going to that movie Friday night? I already cleared my night off with Scott" I giggled as she smiled widely. "Knowing you cleared your schedule for me is all the more reason for me to go with you. It can be our first official best friend date. I'll pick you up around seven?" I nodded, "Perfect. See you later then, I'd better get back to Scott and Theo before they kill each other."

Lydia smiled and waved as she walked off and I turned back to see Scott and Theo nearly at each others throats, "What the HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" I whisper-yelled as I walked back over to them, trying not to draw anymore attention to the situation.

"Scott, I need you to calm down." I whispered calmly as I saw Scott's eyes starting to glow red. I placed a hand gently on his arm, he was still glaring at Theo, "Theo, will you please leave us alone?" I asked nicely as I looked over at him.

He smirked, said smirk only growing wider as he looked away from Scott and down at me, he nodded and left after waving slightly. "Scott? What's wrong? Was it something he said?" Scott nodded, "Wha- what did he say?" I asked him.

"Don't worry about it" he growled under his breath.

 "Scott, please, it made you react like this. What was it?" I pressed him on it and he looked down at me, teeth bared.

"He said something about you and him"

I bit my lip to stop the laugh about to burst out from my lips, "Scott, there was never a 'me and him', we're friends. You know this. If whatever he said suggested a relationship you know it was a lie, I told you that I have never and would never go out with Theo."

Scott nodded. He took a deep breath and his eyes turned slowly back to normal, "I love you, I'm sorry I acted like that. He just knows how to get under my skin."

I nodded in response, "I love you too" I leaned up to press a light kiss to the corner of his lips, "Just ignore him, baby. We're just right again, don't let him ruin it now."
